RE: Sarah C. Barton
Thanks for your quick response. I do not accept calculated dates of birth. Dates of birth should be from a documented source.

Please see this excellent website for more information about sources:

Your edit:
Birth Date:
Feb. 18, 1835

Is this a calculated birth date or do you have a source for this information?

Thank you for your help.

You are very welcome. I'm still looking for James & Mary for you. It gets dark here at 5:15 so I have a very small window after work this time of year. They can't be far from Louvisa!

Cyrus Allison
Hello,

There is no marker for Cyrus Allison in the Memphis National Cemetery. If he is buried there he has a headstone marked "Unknown U. S. Soldier". If you would like I can put a photo of one of those markers on his memorial. Please let me know.

Semper Fi,
Bruce Linz

SleepingDog
Tempy Benton Taylor
It does seem pretty impossible that Tempy would have been the mother to Emma Taylor Graves. I've deleted the comment about that from her entry.

But on Emma's entry, there is a pretty long write up about her that states that Tempe was her mother. Someone else has taken over that entry, and I don't remember it it was me that wrote about her or if it was the other person. It looks like what was written about Emma came from another source.

I don't know the other person's reason for taking that entry over---but maybe he is related to them somehow. You will need to contact the person who manages Emma's entry to see if he can help to solve this.

Thanks for your interest and input.

Re: Mary Alexander
Hello Lisa,
I have connected the one child whose memorial I made. The other two were made by you and you have to connect them to Mary. Also, I will be glad to transfer these memorials to you since you are related and I am not. Please use the edit tab and ask for a transfer for each one you wish to have transferred to you stating your relationship.
