I am not related. I had some family in the cemetery but what a fiaco this all is. I am using Scott County Death Records,St. Mary's Church Record,Holy Family Church Records and Scott County Burial Locator and Ancestry in trying to piece together who is where. Some of Scott County's burial records have some people moved to St. Margurite when they are at Holy Family so this is all a work in progress. Will look for the daughters. The one that passed in 1895 would be a strong possibility.

|Anne Goodenough ||RE: Dr David Goodenough|
Hi, I'm sure I am related to David Goodenough as pretty much all the people in the USA with the Goodenough name are descendants of two men who came to this country in 1638. I'm sorry to say that he is not a close relative of that generation that I have any information about.

I have a copy of the cemetery records and the death certificate, and both spell her middle name Bain. Her grandmother was Bain Brown.
I think that I have found about everything on the McGregor line after they immigrated. In Scotland, the research is complicated by the number of Thomas McGregors. It's hard to keep them straight. I still don't know his exact relationship with the uncle (I think) that willed him the land in Indiana.
I especially enjoyed researching the line as I was able to document the shipwreck upon their arrival, confirming a story my father was told by his grandmother, Elizabeth McGregor John. And the story of Thomas being shot was interesting.

The manager of Helen's memorial, Ben Jacobson, can add a link her to her parents. I can't do it from here.
I sent the request to him, so you don't need to do a thing.

I took the death date from the headstone and got other information from ancestry.com. I did see the 1910 Census showing Henry was widowed but I can find no dates for Hannah's death and the headstone/ancestry.com both show 1931.

1. For various reasons I do not communicate through email on Find A Grave.
2. I did not 'use' your photo on any memorials. You submitted a gate shot photo of Belvidere Cemetery to that admins, they have chosen this photo to appear on all memorials entered on Find A Grave.
3. I have two objections to my photos being used on Ancestry. The first being Ancestry's terms. They state that by uploading a photo to their site, you are giving them permission to use your photo in any way they want, meaning they can compile a bunch of photos and sell CD sets, books etc without compensating the photographer. The second is that I am not a paying member of Ancestry. If my photos were uploaded to Ancestry I would not be able to view my own work. I put them on Find A Grave so that people can view them for free.
4. You may download a copy of the photo to your computer for personal use ONLY. I do NOT give permission for it to be republished in any form. This includes, but not limited to Ancestry.com
