photos for memorial # 58618717
I am wondering if I could please use the gravestone photos you posted on the memorial for this fellow and his wife, buried at Marvins Chapel Cemetery, Pinson, Alabama, with giving credit to you for these photos. These folks are in my family tree. I appreciate you taking these voluntarily. If you need additional information about my project, feel free to email me. Kind Regards,

RE: James Tarrant
Hi, Sorry to be so long replying, but I just found the message. I didn't create this record, just sponsored it because my husband Robert Hewitt is the 2-G Grandson of Sarah Josephine Tarrant Hewitt Sharritt (she was married twice), so I'm not sure where this burial information came from. I know that the Tarrant family sometimes traveled around the state to camp meetings and spoke, so I suppose it's possible one could have died far from home and been buried there. Other than that surmise, I'm afraid I have no ideas. Good luck with determining the correct location.

RE: 167 Alabama Infantry
Was so happy to be able to add the Jess E Ellis memorial to My virtual Cemetery. I am very proud to say that there were so many soldiers from the Pell City / B'Ham area defending Our Country during WW1 , or what they thought was the World War at the time , never realizing that we would have another World War.
Sorry for the delay .
Kitty

RE: Charles Beason
I just walked the aisles and found him there in a group with three others. I do not recall the others near him. And he happened to be behind a McCombs market.

RE: Charles Beason
Before I moved last December I lived a mile from the cemetery so I thought I would go back and look for his grave. I am heading that way tomorrow afternoon and will let you know how it goes.

RE: Nancy C. Bradford
If you are referring to the Nancy C. Bradford that was a child of Philemon and Susannah Truss, her birth and death dates are:15 Apr 1826 to 16 May 1851. I don't know what the C stands for. I'd appreciate the photo.

Marvins Chapel Cemetery
Skip,
Is this cemetery the same as United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pinson, Jefferson Co, AL ?

It looks like there is a duplicate on the W.T. Churchwell. Take a look at the photo's you have taken, W.T.Churchwell shows up twice in two different cemeteries and you took both photo's.

And I thanked you for Churchhill. It should have been Churchwell.
Carolyn
