PLEASE CONTACT ME A REDSKIN.LOCKER.ROOM @COMCAST.NET

NEVINA, WOULD YOU BY ANY CHANCE KNOW THE SECTION, LOT # AND PLOT #.
I NOTICED THAT THE TWO DAUGHTERS WERE BURIED THERE AND POSSIBLY YOUR GRANDMOTHER WAS BURIED IN THE SAME LOT.
THE REASON I'M ASKING THIS IS THAT IT SEEMS THE CEMETERY IS HAVING A HARD TIME LOCATING HER.
IF YOU WOULD, PLEASE CONTACT ME AT REDSKN.LOCKER.ROOM@COMCAST.NET AND WE CAN FURTHER DISCUSS THIS
AS FOR YOUR HEALTH I CAN RELATE. TWO YEARS AGO THEY TOOK OUT MY RIGHT LUNG THEN PUT ME THROUGH CHEMO & RADIATION AND THE CHEMO WEAKENED MY INTESTINES TO THE POINT THAT A PART OF THEM ACTUALLY BLEW UP. BUT I'M STILL TICKEN
CATCH YOU LATER

I hope these photos will do, as you can see this grave site is rather fresh. And there is only a temporary marker.

|Brian J. Ensley||Forest Lawn Memorial Park|
Forest Lawn Memorial Park is a very large cemetery and too big to walk to look for specific graves. The office staff is enforcing their rule of only giving out plot information to family, since they are seeing the same couple of people stop in to inquire. I pass by this cemetery every day on the way to work. In order for this request to be fulfilled more promptly, I would suggest calling the office to obtain the section/plot info and add that on the memorial by clicking the "add plot" link or in the notes portion of your request. Their number is (814) 535-8258.

I found some information about William Consolvo at Forest Lawn. According to the cemetery office, William and Douglas are burried in the same grave. This can be done if one or both are cremated. I'll post the plot photo when I get home tonight and write an explanation as to why the name in the photo and the subject record do not match. I also found out William was a whole body burial. I'm working on getting conformation, that my take a couple of days. Whole bodies are buried on the bottom in the body/cremains case. More to follow!

|Anonymous||RE: Israel Mensh|
I looked for Israel Mensh on Find A Grave at Culpeper National Cemetery and found that there is already a photo of his tombstone on the Find A Grave site. So I removed the request from there. There is only one Israel Mensh buried in this National Cemetery in Culpeper.
I also tried to find if this is the same Israel Mensh that you were looking for through the Ancestry.com site. I found a number of listings for a Israel Mensh with slightly different dates for birth and death. I'm not sure what has happened there. Sometimes when transcribing dates from old records it is difficult to tell the exact date due to the age of the record. It looks as if the date for the Israel Mensh at Culpeper has the wrong date of death on his stone. The date on his stone is the date of his burial.
If you go to the Find A Grave website and look up Culpeper National Cemetery and then put in Israel Mensh you can see his memorial. There are some notes that may help you decide if this is the correct Israel.
Good luck with your search and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours,

The person in the cemetery office told me that the family has asked several times about a permanent marker. Hopefully, they will add one soon.

|Janiera||Bettie Carter Helwig|
There is no permanent headstone for Bettie Helwig at Hanover Memorial Park. I took a photo of the temporary marker that the cemetery placed and added that to the database. I did verify with the cemetery office that no stone has been placed by the family.
Added by Janiera on Nov 20, 2012 6:54 PM
I have the requested photo ready to send but I have a different birth date - the date on his stone reads: b. Dec 14 1912 - d. 14 Aug 1978.
The plot is G 723, Culpeper National Cemetery
Please confirm if this is the correct stone.

We're sorry for the long delay. Monticello Memory Gardens (its current legal name) had nearly two dozen requests outstanding. Apparently we're the only ones tackling that very large cemetery.
In the summer, it's too beastly hot here in central Virginia to go outside - sometimes over 100 deg. - particularly for us New England natives!
The photographing request backlog for that huge cemetery is now down to twelve - we did about the same number yesterday morning.

Sorry for taking so long to reply about Bessie's plot information. She is buried in Plat C - Division 23 - Section 4 - Grave 4. Hope this helps, and I will see what I can find out about the other Bluford's the next time I go to the office down there.

|Janiera||Bluford's at Riverview Cemetery|
I found the headstone for Bessie Bluford, but it was barely readable. I got the best picture I could. Also, in the same section as Bessie, were Ignatius Bluford, L Virginia Bluford, Roberta Bluford, Dora Morgan, Mary L Bluford Scott, Adrian Noll Scott and Helen Lucille Scott. I got pictures that were more focused on each individual headstone and uploaded them.
Also, I checked with the cemetery office about Harry Bluford and they have no record of him being buried there. I didn't check on Robert or Elizabeth Bluford, so they may be elsewhere in the cemetery.
As a note, this cemetery has at least 15,000 graves in it, even though only about 5,000 are listed in the database. This cemetery is nowhere near completely enumerated, but I am working on that slowly but surely.

Did you know there are two different Maggie's. One Maggie is buried in plot 6 the other in 7. One died in 1931 the other died 1957. Just wondering if you saw that.
