RE: Thanks!
No problem. I know you asked for location of the plot. All I can say it's near the chapel building.

You are welcome. If you have any ideas of the identities of the other two people buried in the Ennis lot, please let me know.

Lillie Ennis
Hi Dean, I have fulfilled your request for a photo of Lillie Ennis's gravesite. Buried with her is her husband, John B Ennis. On the other side of the stone are two more graves, unmarked. The cemetery does not know who is buried there. If you have any suggestions, please let me know so I can pass the information on to the cemetery. Thanks.

Thanks for the information about the Major's Choice Plantation Cem. I'll keep checking back - just in case you do find it. It's a shame that we lose the old homesteads. I walk an old country cemetery that the city has surrounded and wonder how long it will be here.
Thanks again.

RE: Abigal Freeman Sours
No sorry! I always walk row by row and that was the only one I found. Maybe older stones that you can't read anymore but that was the only one I found there. I keep my eyes open when I do the next cemetery ;) Always have a list of names for others and will add that one :)

RE: Abigal Freeman Sours
Hi Dean,
well that might be because I entered nearly 1,000 in this cemetery so I have the pics on my computer ;) i tried to do the GPS coords but it's not working. Guess I have something to learn with that. And the cemetery has no plot markings so I also can't give you that.

RE: Charles Carnan Ridgely
Hi Dean,

She is linked.

Ridgely, Priscilla
Daughter Mary Pue Ridgely Dorsey 28446103
Wife of Charles Carnan Ridgely 6400875

The daughter is already linked to her parents. FYI - only the editor of the child page can link to parents so if you ask the editor of the parent page to link they have no ability to do so.

My personal preference is for the wife to be linked on the page of her spouse, therefore I have requested the editor of Charles' memorial page to add the link.

Preserving the Past
RE: Dorsey's
Some of the information on the website you sent me to view is most probably incorrect. But thank you none the less. There are dates that do not make sense that she has on there for children supposedly born to John and Catherine. She has children listed as John and Catherines that I know for a fact are not (Catherine was the step-mother). Also, she has no documentation to back up what she has put on there? Only one child, Eliza has supporting documentation (death) and she was born five years before John and Catherine supposedly were married according to the marriage date that she has provided on the website? So that would not make any sense that Eliza is a child of theirs. I have files on the family and documentation to support all of my findings. I went ahead and posted five of the children she has listed (with a disclaimer that it has not been proven, and credit to you for supplying the info) I do thank you for your efforts and for trying to be helpful. Have a great day!
