RE: Fern Osborne and Eura Lee Baker
Mr Baker was my gr grandmothers brother. I am trying to find out about our Baker geneology. Fern was his wife and you seem to be a relative. Is there any children of Eura and Fern? I would be so happy to hear anything about them. d_guthrie1958@yahoo.com

RE: Sorry I missed you
Yes, my granddaughter and I were there a little over an hour on Sunday. So, sorry that I missed you too. I talked to Tom Smith's widow and Jim and Barbara Brink. Maybe we can get together sometime soon. I would love to meet you and talk about our roots! Take care and God Bless!

RE: unknown cemetery
I got this message back from Alvin Derby.

The land is in 18-12-29 and is own by the City of Fort Smith. I Google Map it and it clearly shows the cemetery. There is a Pense Cemetery just up the road. I think I might have found the name of it though!. It is called the Wright {Becky} Cemetery and is located on the old George Shepherd farm. It states it has 12 marked stones and a number of unknown graves. On Google map I can count at least 15 stones. I don't know if you know is but when the city build Ft Smith Lake, they moved three cemeteries in the area.

It is amazing how he finds all of this stuff! He needs to write a book on all of his discoveries. He is working over on the other side of 71 near the Cove Creek area locating other old cemeteries. He helped me locate Camp Meeting Cemetery near the old town of Anna where my great great greatgrandparents are buried.

RE: unknown cemetery
Well, is it on Shepard Springs Road up from the new Lake Fort Smith Park? I put those coordinates in on a map and that is where it popped up. I don't know about the cemetery, but I left a message for a guy named Alvin Derby who is also on findagrave. He scouts around in that area and is familiar with land records and old cemeteries. Maybe he knows the one you are talking about. If he lets me know, I will share it with you soon. Frances

I also went ahead and transferred Maggie Hawkins to you, too. I have photographed a lot of cemeteries in Washington, Crawford and Franklin Counties in AR and almost all of Sequoyah in OK. If you run across anymore you are kin to just let me know. Frances

I found the links for her parents and linked her memorial to them. I'm not related to her. If you are, I'd be happy to transfer her memorial to your care. Just let me know if you'd like for me to transfer her memorial to your care.

Best Regards,
Sherryl
