Yes, I discovered that just a little late, though. When I did, I deleted the three edits that I had sent you, but was not able to delete the message. At least we agree about that and I will move forward with my research. Thanks for your input, very helpful.

Susan Fielding
Doris Fielden Carson
Hi Cliff- My father in law, Arnold Fielding had a cousin James Fielding who emigrated to Manitoba in 1901 He and his wife Jane had 4 children; Jennie; Damaris; Doris and Reginald. I have located the headstone of both James, Jane and Damaris and Jennie Raine nee Fielding. However unable to find out if Doris and Reginald married. My Doris was born in 1908 - is this Doris Fielden Carson the same person and is she a relative of yours. if so any info would be greatefully received. Thanks - Sue Fielding

Exeter Cemetery
I'm wondering if you are still taking photos in Exeter. If so, would you be interested in trying to find Robert Delve, 1827 - 1905. His wife Anne may be with him or near by. I have no plot number, and cannot find an email address for the cemetery.

Shirley M. Strickland
Upton, Woodward
Hi Cliff, would you please review the memorial for Ivan Henry Upton #108211687. There seems to be two memorials for his wife, Muriel Ellen Durman. She married Ivan in 1924 and Karl Douglas Woodward after 1947. However, a memorial was established for her under her married name of Woodward. Therefore, the two. I don't quite know how to rectify this. I think that she is probably buried in the second memorial but I do not know for sure. What is your opinion about this matter? I am working on the Woodward family and that is how I asked to maintain Muriel and found the two. Thank you.

Kirkpatrick coincidence
Hello,
I just contacted you a week or so ago about the duplicate entry for Riverstown church of the Good Shepherd cemetery and your Kirkpatrick listings. I assume they are relations? Anyhow, I just came across a resource called the Tweedsmuir Histories and was reading through the farm histories and came across the name Amelia Kirkpatrick, which rang a bell. Perhaps this is her??? Do you know of these writings??? Here is a link via the Wellington County Museum and Archives website - fun reading!

Kirkpatricks at Church of the Good Shepherd Cemetery
Hello,
I was looking at a photo request that I had up for the Riverstown Church of the Good Shepherd Cemetery in Arthur, Wellington County, Ontario and I saw you had requests still open for a few Kirkpatricks buried there.....The stones there are no longer on top of the burial sites but have been gathered together and places on a cement pad. Many are worn and weathered beyond reading and are getting worse all the time as many are now face up on the slab. I have a photo I took in the 1980's of our gggrandfather's stone and it was legible at the time and is now completely illegible due to the weathering away of the ingraving......Anyhow, I know about this site and thought it may be of help to you, as it has photos of some Kirkpatricks buried there. Hope this helps out!

Hi,

I am in the process of working my way through the photo requests of gravestones at Royal Oak Burial Park, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The administrator for the cemetery has been helping me with grave locations. Unfortunately, there is no grave for the above named person. Although they were cremated there, the family collected the ashes and buried elsewhere. Sorry no picture available.

Mary Bazarrie Reinge
Hi Cliff
Mary Reing was my great-great Aunt. She was a British Home Child, born on 10 Aug 1869 in Cork Ireland. She arrived in Canada 18 Apr 1880. Her correct name is Mary Catherine Barzagke.
Kind regards

Thank you
Dear Cliff,
Some time ago you generously suggested the transfer of my father-in-law's memorial to me. That seemed like a daunting idea at the time, and a responsibility that I have treasured. Now wonderfully the family connections that my father-in-law was keen to convey are setup as links on his memorial site, which will always be a work in loving progress.

I just wanted to let you know what an inspiration you have been, and that I use you as a role model, always offering to transfer memorials to others so that they can feel as welcomed to Find A Grave as you made me feel.
With grateful thanks
Clancy

Hi, thanks for alerting me to these duplicates. I deleted them, and added the photo showing the full stone to the pre-existing records.

When I posted a cemetery picture of both Ellen and John's graves I think I typed Elaine and not Ellen in the caption. It can be corrected.

Thank you,

You might want to check Orrville Cemetery again for the Carson name. I do believe I've added a few more so I wanted to let you know.

You are quite welcome Cliff. We're still trying to find names of all others laid to rest there as there are several open areas. The cemetery was not taken care of very well in years past.

metcalfe's in mt ida cemetery salmon arm
Cliff. You have 4 requests open for photos in Mt. Ida cemetery for the Metcalfes. Going to try to get my sister who lives in Salmon Arm to go photograph them. I see though you already have 2 photos up, but they havent been removed from your photo requests. Will see if sister can do that this week, if we can get plot numbers for them.
