Here is an obituary my wife's grandmother (Anna Bell Adams (Handford)) had in her possession about Lee William Raycraft (65075403) published Feb. 6, 1958. Thought you might like the extra information:
"Thursday Rites for Prominent Life Resident. Lee William Raycraft of Arcada township, route one, Alma, died Monday evening, February 3rd after three weeks of serious illness and several years of poor health. A prominent retired farmer in the area, he was born August 6, 1876 in Pine River township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Raycraft. A life resident of Gratiot county, Mr. Raycraft was superintendent of the Gratiot County Farm for twenty years, beginning in 1919 and staying in the position until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; a son, Paul of rural Alma; two grandchildren, William Raycraft and Mrs. Betty Stahl; seven great grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Mrs. Dora Bradford of Alma, Mrs. Ora Michaels of Alma, Mrs. Lottie Wood of St. Louis, George of St. Louis, Roy of Alma, Ray of Lansing and Harlow of Saginaw; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held today, Thursday, at 2:00 at the Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, Rev. Charles Hahn officiating, with burial in Riverside cemetery. Acting as pallbearers will be Bernard Wood, Dwight McClintic, Orlin Fletcher, Frank Aumaugher, Frank Silhavy and Daniel Bush."
