Sellons in Amherst
Thanks for the wonderful photos. I notice that this is a 4 sided monument with Jerusha on one and William on another and the two Fanny's on a third. Was there anyone named on the 4th side. Thanks again.

RE: Mary Brown
Thank you for following thru on the edits for Mary Brown. Although my mom was a member of the Brown family, it's not determinable if she was from the same portion of the Brown family as was Mary. Thank you for your kind offer but I'll pass on it at this time.

Most sincerely,
Nancy

Yes, they are members of my extended family - I will take good care of them. Perch Pond was a great place to picnic when I was a bit younger than today! JIM TAYLOR

Thank you for that photo.. She's my 4th Great grandmother. Was there a stone for Levi next to her? She died 23 Feb 1810
No, I did not get that email from you, but had that info about Chloe...I question that she is the right Chloe...Any idea what relative lived in NY that she would be living with? At 77 years of age she was living with a son, not in NY.

Thank you so much for the wonderful photos of Eleazer and Experience Scott's gravestones. I live in the Chicago area, and have a lot of ancestors buried in Massachusetts and Vermont. I sincerely appreciate that you took the time to take these photos for me.

Thank you for the photos! I sometimes forget to walk around the back of headstones--thanks, too, for noticing Marion's dad.

RE: South Amherst Cemetery
Thank you so much for going out to take a picture!

Yes the Bolters are in my Family tree. Edwin is my great grandfather. I know nothing about him. My Dad never talked about him (nor any of his family).

The vast majority of my ancestors are buried in Massachusetts. I can trace both sides to veterans of the American Revolution and the Civil War as well as to the Mayflower!!

I just recently found this website and I've really enjoyed seeing so many of my relatives headstones. Someday I hope to see them in person.

Thank you and the other volunteers for the service you provide. It means so much to me.

Thank you for your effort - I have Webster's death certificate which shows he was buried at the South Amherst cemetery. Is there more than one?

Elijah Dickinson 1817
Hi, I believe that Elijah Dickinson's (1817) actual grave is in the older cemetery in Hatfield, the Hill Burying Ground. I'm mapping that cemetery now and have a photo and gravestone inscription for it. You have him listed as Main Street Cemetery, but that's probably a "memorial" stone, since his wife died so much later than he and his name may have been included with hers. Do you know how to change the cemetery so that he appears in Hill Cemetery instead? I've uploaded the photo of the stone from Hill Cemetery.

Thanks,
Jan

Excellent - she's been linked - thanx! Sure wish I could find birth/death dates for the infants, but I'm not having any luck.

Thank you so much for the great photo of Lloyd's gravestone and for the info about his wife, Eleanor. I just set her up and submitted a photo request for her. I have now located an obituary for her and she did live to be 101!

You're assistance has helped me add a little more info to this branch of the family tree. It's all good - this website has been such a help for long-distance research.
