If you are referring to memorial #10158826, please note that I did not post the memorial - someone named Bev did, and you should contact her for a correction.....Jean

RE: Lieutenant Albert Attaway and Jones Attaway
Thank you for this information. I'm not familiar with a James or John. It seems as though you have quite a collection of info on your hands. 7 lbs. wow! Thanks again.

RE: John Brown McLeod (1831-1890)
I took photos at Greenwood randomly and posted them on findagrave. I found John McLeod's obituary in the archived Dallas paper. I have no information on the McLeods. I am sorry I can't help you.

RE: Stewart, Joshua David and W.T.
I found death certificate information on Joshua David, but not on W.T. (death records were not required to be filed in Texas until the 1920's). I have no idea where the parents are buried (evidently not at Roby), so at this moment, I cannot link either son to their parents. If that information is located (or is known by you), I'd be happy to link. Blessings!

RE: Stewart, Joshua David and W.T.
I'm sorry that the records you mention do not contain the information you mentioned. Many people believe Find-a-Grave to be just that---finding a grave. However, others feel it to be a genealogical source. I'm somewhat in between as my first desire is to make sure that local cemeteries and graves are noted. As information comes in, from volunteers like yourself, that information can be added by the person who created the memorial (who often-times is not related). The memorials are entered usually from visual transcriptions, which affords the contributor only the information from the grave marker. In the instance of Mr. Stewart, the dates shown on the memorial are the only ones that the transcriber (not me) provided. The photo that is posted, I'll agree, is not readable, so practically no information can be garnered from it. I will be out of town the remainder of the day to spend Mother's Day with my 91-year-old Mom. When I return, I'll look over your information and try to get it added to the memorials in question. I trust you will help us in this project by submitting information you know to be true to the contributor who created the memorial. I think you will find most Find-a-Grave folks very accomodating if asked to enter the information. Of course, if any of the memorials you encounter are part of your family, you can always ask the contributor to transfer to your keeping. Have a blessed day!
