James E. Gaddy
Hello! I know it has been a MINUTE since you helped me with the Gaddy graves in Oakland Cemetery. You asked about a James E. Gaddy. I believe I have figured out who he is. I believe he in the son of my Great Uncle and Aunt. I will request a photo. Please add one if you have one. It has to be him those were his grandparents you photographed for me. Thanks!

Thank you
Hi Vanessa, you did everything right for trying to link Addie and William. There are two entries for Addie. Since I now manage William, I unlinked the other one and yours is now linked with mine. Yours is so complete! Good job.

William McKinley Horn
Hi Vanessa, I don't know how to link people that I manage with others I don't. You have caledonia Adeline Herron Carmichael "Addie" who is my grandfathers mother . Rachel ( Horn) Millaway was my Aunt. My grandfather was William Mc kinky Horn. He lived with us for a while before his death. His find-A_-Grave # is 89500060. Any help with linking him to his family would be appreciated. Jeanne Horn-Dawson

John M. Vail - Headstone
I was lucky to find the grandson of John M. Vail.
He told me that there is definitely a headstone and it is inscribed "John M. Vail and wife".
Sad, but true marker.

RE: Alvern Vail
Hi Vanessa
Thanks for your offer to taken the picture.
Regarding John Vail..The Lonoke County Museum mailed me all the information which they searched and found on the Vail,s. I could forward a copy to you if I had your email if you though you needed it.
John Vail was listed with the other Vail's in the Carlise Cemetery. Interesting is that this is what was noted after his name:
Vail,John (with his un-named wife) no dates
With this information you will know at least what to exspect.

Vanessa, I found another Vail in the Cemetery. I submitted a photo request. I don't know the location site. She was the daughter-in-law of John Vail and wife of Ray Vail.
It's ok if you want to pass this request.

RE: Cora Bell Nation Vail
Thanks, I added the inscription to Cora's memorial. I really like the new headstone photo you decided to re-take.
You should be the only one who can delete a picture you posted. The way I do it, is click on the photo you wish to delete. Then at the top of the picture it should have 3 choices. Click on choice [Delete Selected Photo].
I hope you are not to exhausted looking for John Vail's marker. I hope the groundkeeper will be helpful.

The headstone is nice. I think you are right about re-taking the photo. I would like to know what the inscription is at the bottom of the stone. One headstone is enough. If the bottom inscription does not show up in the photo it would be ok to tell me what it reads.
Thanks a lot.

Thanks for posting the nice photos to Mary's memorial. Do you know what the word is on the inscription where it says, ITS __?__ ARE SHINNING

RE: Ray M. Vail
I hope John Vail has a headstone. Tonight I will create a memorial for both of his wives Mary and Cora Bell and then submit a headstone request.
Thank you for the information.
