Dear Sandy,

I hope you never make a Mistake. You didn't need to get so testy with me. Please in the future be a little more polite. You could have asked for memorial to be deleted.

Wonder how you will react when someone catches one of your memorials being off?

Sandy, Would you please post your fine photo that you currently have posted on Virginia's parents' memorials. The parents are Alpheus A Delong (Memorial# 91130814) & Mayme A Bulp Delong (Memorial# 91131234). They all three share the same tombstone. Virginia's memorial# 91131357. Thank you so much, Roy

Sandy I was wondering if I could have your permission to use the gravestone photo in the family genealogy book?

Farison-Fruchey Roots
Jas L. Hart
Hi, when I added my memorial Gravehound Club had James L. Hart with a birthdate of 1931. I suggested it be reviewed and corrected. Now it appears I duplicated an existing memorial.

I follow F.A.G. guidelines and will remove mine.

Hi, You've kindly added a headstone image to James L. Hart #94267247, however the image should be added to Jas L Hart 94267245

Would you please move it? Thanks so much.

Michael Erway
Henry W. Erway 1821-1906

Henry is a relative of mine, I have researched him though records, but have not been able to come up with a picture so far. Can I borrow the picture you took of his headstone for my family tree? I will be sure to cite you as the photographer.

Patricia Ibbotson
Theodore Pioch
Theodore is probably not buried in the Eloise Cemetery. The death index for Wayne County is on-line on the Detroit Public Library website under the Burton Historical Collection. I checked the years for 1940-1953 and he isn't there. Either his name was missed or he died at a later date. If so, he would not have been buried in the Eloise Cemetery as it was closed to further burials in 1948. All unclaimed bodies were removed to the Wayne State Medical School after that time period. Hope this information is helpful.

Midland County Civil War burials
Hi Sandy, my name is Wilma Diesen, also a resident of Midland. A good friend and I are working on a project for the Historic Society's observance next year of the sesquicentennial of the Civil War. I thought it would be a fine thing to check to see if any of the Midland County burials have been missed on previous lists and try to compile a complete list. We are also photographing the headstones of the soldiers and have nearly completed the Midland City Cemetery. We probably won't get to the other emeteries in the County before spring. We saw your photos on the George Conway site and were pleased that someone else is doing these. The two of us are finding the project takes more time than we anticipated and wondered if you might be interested in joining our efforts. We're planning to ask some other members of our local Daughters of the Union Chapter to join with us in this effort in the spring. Please let me know if you are interested.

Your questions about Mary Cave
Hi Sandy,

Sorry, I am unable to find a way to reply to your message about Mary Cave and don't want to dump a whole lot of info on this public message site. I prepared an email to send you.

Am I missing something? Some link somewhere?

If you will go back to her site and suggest a correction again but this time provide your email or a private message link I'll send you the email.
