RE: Malinda McKeon #128411500
Hi Vauna, I transferred the memorial for Malinda. If you can give me the names and date of death for other members of the family I will be glad to check at the cemetery for them. Sheila

Hi Vauna, I made the name change you requested. Would you like me to transfer this memorial to you?

Thomas Jones
I know he is buried in Sangamon County.... or close by.... but I haven't been able to locate him. I just thot he "might" be in that cemetery.

Born: about 1800
Died: about 1879
Married Zilpha Green: January 24, 1822
Married Mary "Polly" Kelly: June 07, 1854

Zilpha is buried in "Jones Cemetery", outside of Chatham in Sangamon County IL. Memorial# 131492133

According to US Censuses:
In 1855, he is in Mechanicsburg.
In 1860, he is in District 16.
In 1879, he is in Talkington.

Any guesses or help would be much appreciated!!

Thank you!!!

RE: Enoch Snyder
Vauna,
All of the information that I put on find a grave memorial for Enoch L. Snyder came from his Pa. death certificate #8623. Do you have proof that the death certificate information is not correct.
It shows his father being Carson Snyder. He died in Venango Twp., Mercer Co., Pa. He was divorced. He was buried in Veach cemetery, Hubbard, O.
The informant was George Snyder whose address was West Middlesex, Pa. R. D.

Thank you
Vauna,

Thank you for the picture and information on Oliver Kelly Chesterman, my 2nd Great Grand Uncle. Based on the last name, I assume you are related to his wife Louisa. Do you have any other information on the Chesterman side? Oliver's sister, Anna, is my 2nd Great Grandmother.

Thanks again, Randy Hays

My Father's Grave-Never Seen Til You
My father died in 1973 when I was 3 years old (my sisters were 11 and 17). My 2 sisters and I have never seen his grave stone due to a variety of reasons. Now we have and in time for Fathers' Day. God bless you and thank you.

Stephen Joseph Snyder & Karen Snyder
RE: George W Snyder
Hi George,

Sorry that it has taken so long for my reply. There is chance that we may be related. My great grandfather was Andrew J. Snyder. Sadly, both Andrew and my great grandmother Sadie Dykeman Snyder were both ostracized from the family. I know where Sadie is buried through a lot of investigating, but Andrew disappeared from the face of the earth. No one seems to know where he went to, and no one knows who his parent's were or if he had any siblings.

I've been adding as many Snyders to Find a Grave as I can and have been looking into their obituaries hoping to find a connection between them and my Great Grandfather, but so far my efforts have been in vain, but I've not given up the ship.

Should you ever need any help with either Find a Grave or just your family tree in general, please let me know.

For more information on George W. Snyder, you may wish to contact the Franklin Public Library at www.franklinlibrary.org and send a request for information. If memory serves me correctly, George W. Snyder appears in the Snyder / Bump genealogy book. This is not located in the Pennsylvania room, but upstairs in the Pennsylvania Reference section. I know this because I've consulted it a few times and I also work at the Franklin Public Library.

I hope that I've provided you with enough information to make my reply worth the wait.

Here is a link that should take you directly to the card catalogue entry for the Snyder / Bump Book that I mentioned: https://franklinlibrary.follettdestiny.com/cataloging/servlet/presenttitledetailform.do?siteTypeID=-2&siteID=&includeLibrary=true&includeMedia=false&mediaSiteID=&bibID=11963&walkerID=1400373276208

If that doesn't work, just go to our webpage and enter Snyder Bump into our online catalogue.

I hope this helps.

Have a terrific weekend!

Stephen

GREAT headstone photo!!! Thank you so much for providing this lovely addition to her memorial. I do note last name was misspelled on headstone! Suppose no one noticed? :)
Blessings to you,
