Now I'm getting excited. I've looked further in your entries. Please e-mail me! I may have more ancestors for you on the Nelson side, some with speculation that I've been longing to confirm, including some native American blood.
Hint: Job, son of Frederick Warren Nelson. Warren is the clue.

In your memorial note, you say you are 2nd cousin twice removed. Charles was my great uncle, brother to my grandfather. I'm curious as to who you are?? Feel free to e-mail me at email@example.com

I wanted to give you a reason for the decline. I noticed the parents for Edwin are Frank & Wanda Geldon of Michigan that was according to Edwin's obituary. The graves are attached, and someone has photo's...That was the reason I think I sent with the decline. I just sent an email asking what happened to Ann's memorial and to restore it.

Thank you very much for bringing this to my attention. I need to contact Find A Grave, because I didn't delete any memorial. What is weird the link is still attached to Karl for Ann. To delete her would not make any sense. I'm actually looking at the records in front of me. Ann & Karl are even in the same plot together with Edwin. I know an obituary existed for Ann. I'm wondering where her memorial went. The only thing I can think of if someone contacted Find A Grave, and asked for removal. I have not received any request in doing so. I'll shoot them an email now, and ask what happened. This has me baffled. I was going thru the edits since I have zillon of them suddenly. Don't worry I will get to the bottom of this.

Thanks, I completely forgot to get him added to the cemetery after his service. My sister-in-law was killed the same evening.

Thank you. You are a wealth of knowledge. I did know about Virgil, but not Alyce. I have never thought of using Facebook to contact family about family history. Thank you for your information and ideas. I will see what I can find out about Felicia.
With warm regards,

Thank you for the instructions to find the gravestones. Do you know how Felicia Woodruff ties into the family? I have no record of her, but I'm sure she belongs to the family.
Also, thank you for creating the memorials and transferring them to me. I appreciate your time and help.

Thank you for the information on Grace and Melvin Woodruff's burial place. This has been updated. Melvin is my grandfather's nephew. It is interesting the comment you suggested about his name. All of our family records show his name as Melvin Jensen Woodruff. I will need to do further research on his name.
Thank you for helping others to have access to complete and accurate information.

Your absolutely correct! I have vision problems at the computer sometimes. My astigmatism is hard at work making my life that more difficult at times. LOL. I work with the cemetery directly, and don't have a one of those Kiosk's. I recently digitized the whole cemetery for it, and been working on the details ever since. They wanted to see certain pieces of information on each memorial since we rely on the site, and come into contact with the families more in the cemetery than the office. Smart phones are our best friends, and so is Find A Grave! Been asking for a Kiosk for years, but it's never going to happen. Would you be opposed to adding my information, and changes? We kind of doing things a bit differently so we don't duplicate our work. We are trying something new so people know that markers are missing or not inscribed on certain stones etc. Saves us time from going out each, and every single time for genealogical requests for photo's for headstones. Also, the grave matches the actual records. It's important that it's listed this way. The records were reported by the deceased's relatives, and labeled as such. Thanks for listening and input....

Thank you for updating her memorial. The accident happened about a month after her daughter got married. I'm not connected with the family but stumbled on the story in an old newspaper. Very sad.

THank you so much. Their little son, Jerry, is also buried in the Porterville Cemetery and I have requested a link to his parents from Scott Hayes. I just added the obit. Linda

She went to the same church as we do and I found her obit amongst my Mom's things. Since it has only been since 2008 when she died, I try not to put the surviving families names in the obit. So glad you are able to help with all these additional memorials. I have always wondered what does happen after the memorial maker passes on. Linda

Sorry you got a rude message. I've had a couple, which is why my email is no longer on my contributor's page. It is disconcerting, especially since most Find A Gravers are so helpful.

Hi, I was wondering if you're the one who has worked on my Grandmother's page. Mary Frances Turbyfill Garrett? If you are, could you please link her son to her? Sammy Burns Garrett buried in Ridge Cemetery in Mississippi. If not, could you direct me as to how I could have that done? Thank you!
