Greetings Shanna - I think I have discovered another entry that you made and I also made one that I think is the same person. It is # 147187771. Another Great Aunt from me. Please check it to see what you think and if you would like to transfer it to me and I would consolidate the two of them together and delete the duplicate. Thank You Very Much. Wishing You a Fantastic Day.

Hello again Shanna - I am adding more and more of the Mund family to this web site and discovered that you are also the owner of John Mund - Orville's Grandfather. My Grandfather and Orville's Grandfather are brothers. Siblings of Henry and Susan Mund of which I have already entered most of the information I request you transfer the ownership of entry # 128393661 (John Mund) to me. Actually his real name is George John Mund. Thank You. Wish you a great day.

I am so pleased it would mean something to you. It would be great to have it go to someone like you instead of a generic collector. Good luck! I am not the seller, but have bought and sold eBay for years. If you need any tips, LMK.

Hi Shanna

You are welcome! Memorial looks good! And thank you for all you do, I think that it takes a very special person to do that on people that you are not even related to.

have a great day!

RE: Blood family
Thanks for your help. I added a photo today. My thinking was that Olivia could have been her given name, but she was known Viola. I know that sometimes the Dr. didn't get the births recorded in a timely manner and relied on memory and notes to record at a later date, resulting in errors.

RE: Russell Albert
Thanks for your help. I was able to find the death certificate with the incorrect spelling. Sometimes it is a challenge to find these, the writing is bad and the transcription is difficult.

I would love to have anything you have on Robert. He is one of my husbands direct lines. I'm willing to reimburse you for any expense in providing me these items.

Russell Albert
You can ignore my previous message about this person.

I finally found his death certificate. His last name is spelled Seim on the certificate. It could be Sims or Samis. I will figure that out.

Russell Albert
I found a marker for a Russell Albert 1907-1919 but I don't find him added to the Chase Twp. Cemetery.
I don't know if this is a first and middle name or a first and last name. Could you please check the records.
I have searched the 1910 census and the Michigan Death Index for 1897-1920 for a record of his death and find nothing.
I will add his name to the cemetery so that you can see the marker that is there. As far as location, the marker is in the west side of the road off 64th street. I don't have an exact location.
Any additional information that you may have is appreciated.

Blood family
I have a marker photo for a Viola Blood 1870-1934 and the only close match I find in the cemetery is for Olivia Blood.
I am wondering is her name may be Olivia Viola or Viola Olivia Blood. The marker has her birth year as 1870 and death 1934.

I filled a request for photos of Elwin and Alberta Brockelbank today in Chase Twp. Cemetery. The grave stone also had the name of their son Sanger and his wife Marie. Do you know if the son and wife are actually buried here? If they are I will add their names and general information.

RE: Helen Allison
Hello Any of the sites you see Jan is putting them on .What I do is search for pictures of the people & to put a stone on there site . I have had people that took pictures of my family then some how put there name on the picture trying to say you can not use the picture . This is a very big trouble with people thinking they own the picture as this is silly to me . I go all over the search looking to help myself & others and if someone put there name on the picture is just to bad as I will use it if it is not on . They do not own it and what would you think if someone took a picture of your family then put there name across the picture ? Most Anything on the search is open to be used . What I would like to see is to let people know they should not put there name across peoples stone or picture of them then claim this is there pictures . Please pass this on to others as this is very wrong ! Now for me if someone has a better picture then I have I will take mine off when they put a good one on as I want to see it . Many of times I have sent the family picture to the person that is working on there own family as I do not care about numbers . Hope you can help. Thanks for your mail . Rick,

RE: Caleb Hobbs grave
Shanna thank you. Interesting enough, I found some stuff on his siblings this morning. It seems the parents died before 1900 in Indiana and left minor children. I found one that was a ward of the court to a Mary.....that I am thinking may be her sister. Intriguing family....yet often the same story it seems of my family. Parents died young leaving the children to be raised by grandparents or siblings. I will keep you posted.

I also found out that Caleb and Thankful were only married two years. Thankfull died of cancer. Maybe one day I can find a picture.....that would be the icing on the cake!!!

Thank you again and Happy Thanksgiving!!!

RE: Caleb Hobbs grave
Thank you so much Shanna. I will keep you updated on the progress as we research Caleb and Thankfull.

I have much to be grateful for this day. Not only was this a total surprise to me, but on my other side of the family, I was able to connect to a cousin I have not seen nor heard from in 47 years. I have contact with his two sisters, but they have told me has distanced himself from the family. I learned last night he was on FB and sent him a friend request.

I believe I am here to find and gather my family, both those that are living, and those that have gone on before me. Jimmy was the last of us 8 cousins I had not idea how to find. Now that I have contact, the work begins to bring us all back together maybe one last time for a family picture. Pretty amazing journey for a little 7 year old girl that only wanted a family and to be loved in this life. It has been a journey....and man what a ride!!!

Thank you again for your kindness. Laura
