|don vasko||RE: Calvary Baptist Cemetery, White Co, Tn|
Thanks for the transfers. I've been gone all day down to Jackson Co. Took close to 100 pics at three cemeteries. I'll get everything posted to Calvary in the next couple of days.

|don vasko||RE: Coy Turner|
Thanks for your reply. One question. When you put the Turners on, was it from an obit or did you find them at the church? Only get a busy signal any time I call the church. Running into dead ends.

|don vasko||Coy Turner|
Hi I'm trying to find any info that you might have on Coy Turner 93723920 at the Calvary Baptist Church, Sparta, Tn. My cousin-in-law is the pastor of the Anneville Baptist Church, Jackson Co, Ky. In old minutes he has just found, Coy was ordained the pastor at this church 4-23-1944. He is doing research on past pastors of his church & we are working together on this. Do you know if Coy was the pastor of Calvary or why just he, his wife & his mother are the only three of the four buried here. In the meantime, I'm trying to connect with people in Sparta.
Thanks for anything you may provide. Don

|Jan Dahlquist||Fairhope/Barnwell/Brook Cedron/ Barnwell Community|
I am so very confused. I find obits that say someone was a resident of Barnwell their entire life but born in and died in Fairhope. Also, cemetery confusion- for example, Elroy McKenzie Jr, you have buried in Barnwell Community but his obit says he was buried in Brook Cedron. I understand the cemeteries are across the road from each other. And there is a photo of his grave marker recorded as in Brook Cedron on ancestry.com.
So are Fairhope and Barnwell one and the same, or just so close to each other than there is confusion?
Are the cemeteries considered the same?
Thanks for any light you can shed on this

|Kerry||New Edit System|
How do I process memorial edits I have received?
From your 'Profile' page, select the 'Edits' tab. The tab will display the number of edits you currently have pending. If the number is more than 25, the number will be displayed in red.
'Pending Edits I need to review' will be displayed. From here, you can review the pending edits submitted to you by other members. You will see three columns. The first will be the name of the memorial which you can click on to open the memorial in a new window. The second will show you how the memorial looks currently. And the third will show you the prosed look after the edit. All edits are by default as 'Accept'. Do not click 'Process selected edits' at the bottom of the page until you are ready to approve all the edits marked 'Accept'.
Accepting the edit will update the memorial to show what is in the 'Edit' column.
Ignoring the edit will allow you to hold the memorial while you research the proposed edit.
Declining the edit will not process the update for the memorial. If you decline the edit, you must select the reason from the dropdown menu as well as leave an optional short note.
Once you have selected one of the three options for each of the edits on the page, click 'Process selected edits'. The system will begin updating the memorials with the selected updates. Wait for the page to complete before going on to the next task. [Top]

|Volunteer #46577499||RE: Hammontree|
I am transferring Hammontree pages to you; your father and grandmother.
Explaining all my reasons for not making transfers? would take more time than I am kindly disposed to create!
Suffice it to say that -
too many volunteer hours have been invested in this website project, with too little appreciation or respect manifested from administrators here, and the public, for same.
Hundreds of records were found (by photography)to be placed in the wrong locations. When notified of this situation, Find A Grave admins corrected these errors by 'merging' their files. This caused Ben's and my hours invested to be deleted, and records then attributed to others. In this process, hundreds of our photos were also deleted. Needless to say - I am no longer enthusiastic about volunteering my time here.
RE: transfers? Many times after making transfers, records have been deleted, recreated, and even the photos have been 'copied' and attributed to 'family' members, who have made new pages.
Hopefully this apology satisfies your 'need to know'.

Your very welcome...Funny story behind getting the photo. We get to the cemetery and section 77 is the only section in the whole cemetery that had the sprinklers on. I had to dodge the sprays of water in order to photograph the stone. I did get wet a little to say the least. Lucky for us it was a warm day..hehe
