RE: Benjamin Kaufman
Thanks for trying.

Even if we find a relative. You did meet him. Would you like to be at the ceremony and maybe tell what you know about him?

Hi Ron. I'd like to request that you add the photo on Michael's page to Catherine's (his wife) and then delete the one you have on her page since it is not makred with the grave location. I didn't realize that they were two different photos. Thanks in advance.

RE: MOH Benjamin Kaufman
Thanks again for the info.
Any help in finding any relative would be appreciated.
First we want to make sure a relative would not object to naming VFW Post 3525 in honor of Benjamin Kaufman.
Second we would like a relative present at the naming.

Plus seeing you knew him we would like you there to talk and provide us some info about him.

RE: New info concerning Lawrentine Ochocki
Hi Ron,

Thank you very much!

I found one other name of interest:

Mary Ochocka
Holy Name Cemetery
06/25/1894
Blk-Y Sec-F Gr-62 4A

but her stone is likely missing also. In any event, any information that you could obtain would be greatly appreciated!

Sincerely,

VLOC

Thanks for this photo and indicating the exact location since there is no headstone. Unfortunately, I have several family graves without markers.

I am sorry but this grave is not the right one. the headstone is only a small one, I have a photo of it but don't know what cemetery it is in. The lady in question was born in Cavan Ireland, in 1879 or 1880 and I think she died between 1925 and 1927

RE: New info concerning Lawrentine Ochocki
Hi Ron,

Oh well, it was new to me.

It looks like Lawrentine Ochocki might actually be Laurentino Ochocki and I hadn't seen Adam Ochocki listed anywhere before.

Thank you for checking! I appreciate your efforts!

Sincerely,

Holy Name
Thanks for the photos from S-G-86 and G-O-29. It's a shame that neither have any kind of marker in those plots.

RE: Joseph Franckewicz Grave Picture
Eureka !
I used the URL for the Catholic Cemeteries and did a last name search on "Franck". This came up with both Mary and Joseph.
However Joseph's last name was entered into the system with the last named spelled incorrectly. It has an "i" after the "k".

As you can see, the plot appears to be different than that of Mary.
So, could you please remove the picture from Joseph's memorial but leave it on Mary's.

Here is the record: Joseph Franckiewicz Holy Cross Cemetery 04/29/1924 Blk-6 Sec-C Gr-115 1A

If you get a chance, can you check the plot location for Joseph to see if he has a headstone ?

Thanks Ron.

RE: Joseph Franckewicz Grave Picture
Another question for you.

So how did you find Joeseph's plot location ?
It is not in that URL for the Catholic Cemeteries.
Does the cemetery foreman have a plot map that showed Joseph is at that location ? If so, I would like to update the information at that URL and get Joseph added to it.

RE: Joseph Franckewicz Grave Picture
Me again.
I went to the URL and found Mary. I was unable to Find Joseph in that database.

So it says:

Mary Franckewicz was buried on 11/26/1908 at the Holy Name Cemetery in Blk-F Sec-G Gr-84 1B.

Is that the same plot that Joseph is in ?

I am not sure if they are buried in the same plot, but I am pretty certain that both are buried in that cemetery.

Is there a Plot map for the cemetery that I can use to look it up ?

So it appears that both my Great Grandfather AND my Great Grandmother lie in an unmarked grave. Is that true ?

RE: Biross
You're very welcome ! Yes I saw the remark and it ticked me off a little. Was sorry I had no way to contact her. LOL does she think there are gangs of people ready to take on a cemetery the size of a small town ? Last count was abt half a million burials. Maybe she needs to google earth the place. I'm happy if I can find a few requests each time I go. I started going only because there were so many requests, my primary Cemetery is under control so I thought I'd try to help out. Oh well, such is life lol. Have a great day ! Martha
