Thanks for the transfers. I am still curious how you got their names as cannot see them in the photo. Judy

I appreciate the pictures and documentation of my great grand parents grave site. I'm working on documenting my family's lineage and this is a huge help.

Hi Ron You're very welcome. I'll get Frank Verducci's picture next time I go. I didn't know I had a wrong location for him until I got home. Joan S.

What is HNC? When I was there a few years
back the attendant in the office was getting
irritated because I was asking questions.
When I asked where my grt. grandfather was, John Nolan, he said it was in the place where there
were no headstones. I guess his death was unexpected and they couldn't afford a stone.
That was I think 1906.
But John DuPont is in with the Daniels?

Thank you Ron for finding my great Uncle's grave
I so appreciate it. I don't understand why his name is not on the stone. My Aunt who we lost last year told me that we have relatives in the Holy Cross Cemetery, but didn't exactly say which ones. When I went home to NJ,(I live in CA) I looked all through the cemetery and only found one or two. My Great Grandfather Nolan is in there but has no stone.
I was hoping to find my other Grt Grandparents Bridget and Henry DuPont also not sure where they are buried. That's who I thought would be on the stone.
Thank you so much.

I'm glad I could help. I was checking out cemeteries in my area and saw that Millbrook had a request. It was only after I printed it out that I realized it was yours. Have a good day.

Thank you so much for finding out about Bayview's policy. Having a map will really help in finding our relatives.
Maybe we'll run into you this summer!

Ron, I just read your thank you note for Carmine Verducci, and noticed that you live in Jersey City. This summer my brother and sister are coming to town to do our "2014 Cemetery Tour", and we are going to search the Bayview Cemetery for relatives. Have you any experience with Bayview? Are they cooperative with Find A Grave volunteers? Are they computerized - do they have a map of the cemetery available - are the cemetery sections marked in the cemetery? We will be searching about five cemeteries in Northern NJ and we need to save time!
My brother fulfills requests in Colorado. Their cemeteries have directories and a map by the front gate showing where the people are buried - wish we had that here. We joke that he has to watch out for rattlesnakes, and I have to watch out for ticks!
I hope to hear from you soon. Joan S.

I'm glad I could help. My parents are buried in that section and I decided to try to fulfill the few photo requests nearby. Don't tell anyone......

You're very welcome. If you want any others at Holy Sep, just make the usual requests.

Again, lol, you are very welcome. Hopefully I will be able to do more of the requests at Holy Cross before long. There are so many and its very time consuming finding the written locations and then actually finding them in the cemetery. Enjoy your research and let me know if I can help in any way. I have just started doing Holy Cross Cemetery as I mainly do Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield. If the weather improves, I will be going there next week. Martha
