Barrie newspaper
Been there, done that. I found about 6 I could actually copy. The others I have to request. Maybe since I am in the US?
There is an Obit for Alex, and Mary (May) Touchette I couldn't get. Their daughter Edith or Edna, married a Shields, couldn't copy. Their marriage and deaths.
Believe me, I tried. Got Willard's sibs. Still working on getting more. The last letter from Willard to his father came from that site.
The Barrie Touchettes are my Grandfather's Uncle Alexander Touchette's family.
Same with the Thunder Bay family of Alfred Touchette. My GG Uncle

Willard Touchette
Oh wow, I can't thank you enough. This is so incredible. I have tried so hard to find more on him. Finding his Obit, and last letter home was difficult. Now you have given me a photo and much more. I thank you with my whole heart.

Private Ernest E. Abbl
Thank you for posting the news article for Ernest Abbl. He was a cousin I never knew since he died before I was born, but I did meet his parents. Can you tell me what newspaper and date the article came from?

Arthur Frederick Metcalfe Memorial# 56681262
Thankyou so very very much for finding and posting this picture and newspaper clipping about Arthur Metcalfe. He was my Great Granduncle and 1 of 3 brothers who fought and died during WW1 including my Great Grandfather. We didn't have a picture of him prior to your discovery and was just overwhelmed and moved to make this discovery. What an incredible and selfless work you do. You had me crying this evening (in a good way!!!) Many thanks

Hi Operation picture me ! Wow! Wow! thank you for the picture of Meiklejohn. Just in time for the 100th anniversary of WWI. Where did you find such a treasure? Looks like it must be of his military unit - the CEF 76th overseas battalion. Yhanks again, Anneg

May I use the photo you put on his memorial on another memorial to him at Orillia. Or do you
wish to put it on there yourself.

Hello,

I hate to bother you but I just stumbled upon your contribution to the above memorial for Keith Oliver Perry.

I am a family genealogy researcher and Keith was my Mom's cousin (my 1st Cousin 1x removed) and we know very little about him.

I would be most pleased if you could tell me the source of the picture you submitted and/or where I might obtain a copy of it.

Thanks you very much,
