Well in that case a VERY big thank you for your time and trouble!!!!

I know all about hot down here in Florida hunting thru cemeteries! Even tho I take water with me I cant wear jewelry when I go as I swell up from the heat.

Dorothy was my first cousin and living down here I dont get to get up that way very often.

Thank you again,

Judy, Once again, my appreciation goes out to you for your charitable giving of your time in searching out the headstones, taking the pictures (which are very good) and up loading them and making them available to the internet. Many times, and this is the case here, these internet photos are the only tangible (when downloaded and printed) evidence of these relatives. Mike, Oregon

Susie and Hannah Hess
Judy, Thank you for the information. Please furnish me with the Find A Grave Memorial Numbers for them. The information provided by you does not match exactly the Susie Hess buried in the Greenwood Cemetery, De Graff, Ohio that I have in my tree. I do not have a Hannah Hess connected to Susie. Is the Hess family in your family tree?
Thanks again,
Linnea Perris

RE: John Arbogast
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. It's possible that he is in New Salem. His and his wife's death certificates both list Greenwood. His dates are 1855-1926. Thank you!

RE: Forrest Strayer
Yes, this is the correct Forrest Strayer. I'm sure the middle initial was either a typo on my part or a mis-reading and typo on someone else's part. Either way, we have it correct from the photo of the gravestone. Thanks for your efforts!

The Caampbells @ Greenwood
Thanks
I assume Berton and Christana Caampbell are buried together in Greenwood
I have a death certificate for Christina Campbell and it notes she was buried at Greenwood Cemetery by The old Reeder Funeral Home in 1946
Bertrom was buried with her in Greenwood in 1944

Thanks again for your efforts.
They are not listed on the Logan Co cemetery web page for Greenwood cemetery?????

Thanks

The Hardins @ Logansville
Hmmmmmm
I have the death certificates for Robert and Catherine Hardin died 1922 and 1923
Both of these death certificates indicate burial in the Lagansville Cemetery by the old Rexer Funeral Home - Degraff

I visited the Logansville Cemeery many years ago and seemed very unkept.

Thanks for your efforts

Thank you
Judy,
Thank you so much for posting the photo of my grandparents' headstone. I am sorry that you took the time to post it, only to find that there was already a picture posted. I have been trying to figure out how to go back and look at the original message I posted requesting a photo and haven't had any luck trying to find it; however, I believe I had mentioned that I wanted a current picture due to the fact that I see, from current satellite images (Google Earth and Maps) that, unbeknownst to our family, the two large bushes on each side of the headstone had recently been removed by someone (probably the township), and I was hoping for a photo of the headstone without the bushes. Perhaps I didn't mention that after all - currently undergoing chemo for breast cancer, and it makes me forgetful! Don't run out to take a current photo, as my parents arrived in Ohio today (a trip not planned when I posted the photo request), and will be at Blue Jacket over the weekend, and will take photos. Thanks again! Karen Keller Osborn

Thank you for your help in clearing this up. I will contact the memorial creator and ask about a transfer -- in the meantime, I'll transfer the one I manage out of Logansville Cemetery and add it to the Moore Cemetery listings. JK

RE: Mary Swonger
Two memorials, same name, same date of death, (no birth date originally given) two different cemeteries!

Find A Grave Memorial# 19199047 Logansville Cemetery (created 2007 - believed to be incorrect)

Find A Grave Memorial# 34967249 Moore Cemetery(created 2009 believed to be correct)

Hi Judy, I agree with you. My sister and I visited Moore Cemetery in 2012. Mary Jane Albert Swonger was my 4th great grandmother.

When I came upon memorial 19199047 I couldn't figure out how it came to be. Is there another Mary Swonger buried in Logansville Cemetery who died on the same date? If so, who is she? That is the mystery! If you could check on that I would be very grateful.

Perhaps the person who created the Logansville memorial for Mary Swonger just mixed up the name and it should be someone else?

I am happy to transfer the information to the Moore Cemetery Memorial and remove the Logansville Memorial once this clears up. Hopefully Joan S. will be willing to add the information:) I know we all want to get it right.

Thanks for your help in clearing this up. Sorry this message got to be so long!

JK

RE: Aquilla Cooper
There were 2 Mr. Coopers Father and son. One was married to my great grandmother Christina Rager Barringer Cooper after the passing of her first husband. I am having trouble figuring who is who here. I cannot find a burial for the other and my DOD does not match yours, so I will have to look into this further.
