RE: Emily Squire
Hi Mona,
You are very welcome for the marker photos for Clayton & Emily. I looked at the memorial pages and saw that the photos were taken in the month of November, which is usually very rainy and cold here in Oregon. So I'm sure I was answering a photo request from someone, but I don't have any record of who that was. It may have been just for one, Clayton or Emily, and since there were two names on the marker, I just added the photos to the other memorial page.

Hi Mono,

No, I'm sorry we are not related to the Wileys. Thank you for the nice words about his memorial, though.

RE: Joseph J. Waitz
Hi Mona,
I would certainly like to chat with you in more detail about the gravesite of my gg grandfather Joseph J. Waitz, however I did not receive any information at my email address. Could you try again?

RE: Joseph J. Waitz
Hello Mona,
Joseph J. Waitz was my g-g-Grandfather. Although we know the general location of his resting place, my cousins who visited the site were unable to locate a marker. Our stories indicate that Joseph was visiting a family member in Houston when he died, and he was therefore buried in a section of the cemetery called "Stranger's Rest." Are you a Waitz family member? What is your source of information about the Railroad?

RE: Lucille Records Estey and others
Girl, I get goose bumps when I get messages like yours. I am so glad the information I found was meaningful to you. Expressions of heartfelt gratitude make it all worth the effort. If I can do any else for you here in Inglewood, just let me know.

Best Regards,

Thomas Records, et al.
Hi Mona. Here are the other family members buried in the Heather Plot with Thomas:
Lucile Records Estey and husband Merle
Spencer M. Records (buried with Edith Wheeler)
Katherine K. Records

I created memorials for them and added photos. I hope this helps with your research. Good luck in finding more relatives on this site.

Best Regards,

Hello again! Thomas's remains were first laid to rest in 1932 in the same crypt that Lorena is now in, however he was moved to another grave in 1935, according to the cemetery staff. I am also going to add other family members but I'm in a time crunch right now. I'll get back to you about it another day.
Best Regards,

Hello Mona. I have claimed your photo request but I don't think he is in the Inglewood Mausoleum near Leora. I transcribed/photographed a huge portion of that mausoleum, and if he was near her, he would have already had a memorial on this site. So I will go in the office and ask if he is there, and if so, get the location and photograph it.

Take care,

Hi there-
I just added a photo to Mr. Newbanks memorial. Sadly, his grave is unmarked, as is the case with so many of the tuberculous patients that died in Phoenix. The photo of his site was taken at an unconventional angle, in order to block out the concrete trash bin and service road that are immediately behind his grave. He is buried beside a lovely old tree.

I confirmed with the cemetery yesterday the exact location of her grave and that there is no stone. She is buried to the west of Elizabeth, William and Naomi Emery (all 3 with stones). I uploaded a picture showing where she is buried - including a caption.

According to the cemetery database there is also a 2yo James Emery, 19yo Laura B Emery, 6yo William Emery Newbanks, and 1yo Carrie Newbanks in this same lot. None of them have stones that could be found either.
