Smith Dalton Cemetery, Stoneville
Timmy and I are wondering where this cemetery is. He was not aware of a Dalton cemetery in Rockingham County.

I do not understand the "correction" that you sent me: "This is the Charlie two children stone not Charlie & Bessie stone."

I have the photo on their child's memorial, he was Charlie Martin 1909-1910. I don't know where his parents are buried.

Thanks Ricky! You did an excellent job of "managing" this memorial. Your photos are very good. And the speed with which you took care of this are to be commended. You are definitely an asset to this website.

James Samuel Martin Entry
Hi Ricky,

I just transferred this entry to you because when I put mine in, I didn't know where he was buried. You seemed to have made one on the same day---except you knew where he was buried.

The Martins/Richardsons are also related to me----even though I don't know any of them.

I thought you might like to take the information and the connections from mine and add them to yours.

Thanks---Barbara Burt (3rd gr-granddaughter of Frances Martin Wilson--a daughter of "Beaver Island Tom Martin and Dr. Emanuel Wilson.)

Vernon Family Cemetery
Ricky, thank you for the pictures you took for me of the Vernon headstones. It means a lot to me to be able to see these. I am impressed with the clarity of the pictures. You did a great job. We are able to get to NC so seldom. We always gave our time priority to my relatives who are still living. Now many of them are gone and my chances of getting back to NC where my mom was born are even lower. Thank you so much.

Keith Bullin
Bullin family cemetery
Rick,
I remembered where the graveyard is, its on Fulp Road, not far from Hardbank cemetery where Johnnie, Cattie, Isabell, and Strowdy are buried. I lived less than half a mile from there when I was growing up, still have siblings living there, and I remember that Strowdy would drive up from Salisbury and we'd go to their old homeplace, which stood on the hill across the road from the cemetery. The house is long gone.

Bullin Family Cemetery Stokes County
I am the great grandson of John and Martha Bullin, their son Johnnie was my grandpa. I would Love to know where the Bullin Family cemetery is located since the infant son of John and Martha is buried there , and in the photo shown it looks rather unkempt. i'd be interested in doing some cleanup there and maintaining the cemetery if only I could find it. Please help me if you can. My email is kcbullin@yahoo.com
Thank You.

Hi, take a look at my memorial #74749643 and compare it to your #92370261, tell me what you think, it beats the hell out of me, identical in every way, but in 2 different states, this is strange, as if they picked up the entire marker & moved it, Larry

James Edwards
Edwards Connections
My name is James Oscar Edwards, and I live in Milan, MI. I am trying to connect the dot to my G-G-Grandfather's family from Stokes, N.C., between 1778, and 1850. His name was William, and one of his brothers was Squire Madison Edwards Sr.
There was also an older brother, Abel. They were sons of John Edwards, who was born in 1778, to William Franklin Edwards, and his wife, Frances Rebecca Brewer, at Chatham, N.C.
