Katherine Warren photo request
The Union Cemetery website does not show a burial for Katherine Warren. Nonetheless, I looked in the same lot where her husband is buried. I did not find a stone. I contacted Rita Macy, who created this memorial for Katherine Warren, asking why she created it in Union Cemetery. As a result, she moved the memorial to "Burial Unknown". Sorry I could not be of more help to you.

RE: Thanks!
You're very welcome again! I didn't know she was related to Leonard Warren but was glad they were so close together when I went to scrub his off and take Anna Abrahamson's headstone photo.

RE: Other burial next to Leonard Warren
I'm glad you asked so I checked it out. Her name was Anna M Abrahamson and I didn't think they were buried together since they had separate stones and a different last name, but it appears she is in the same plot Blk 26, Lot 546, in space 2 to his space 1 of this two-person plot. It might be something to check what their relationship might have been. I'll uncover her stone also and take a photo when cleaning his.

RE: Thank you!
You're very welcome, Tricia. I'm honored to be able to do this for you. I went all the way to Stoughton, WI just last weekend to get a photo of my own Grandfather's grave who I also never knew. It meant a lot to be able to see the headstone. Just FYI, I plan to go back and clean off your grandfather's stone for a better photo. I did not have my digging tools with me which I needed to be able to get a perimeter to allow the rinse water to drain off. Union did a fantastic job this spring edging all the flat markers so it must have been buried up to where the black grime on what should be a light part of the stone. It will come clean with a light brushing with water and look much better, so you can expect that within the next week or so. Have a great day!

RE: Thank you!
I just wanted to thank you for adding Memorial #30811601. This is my Uncle Jim and I was very close to him and miss him terribly. Being able to leave flowers for him here was wonderful.
