RE: Melvin Weckop
You're welcome. The last time I walked this cemetery for a picture request, I started in the front near the highway and found the headstone in the second to the last row. This time I started at the back and found the headstone in the last row 4 or 5 graves from the far corner, so it was an easy find. I took some pictures and something swooshed by my ear and grazed my hair. I looked up and 8 to 10 birds dive bombed me over and over again. I hid behind a larger headstone, until they left. Then I noticed a bird feeder 4 headstones down from the Weckop grave. They must have had baby birds and were protecting their turf. It was a little unnerving, but I got a good laugh out of it after I realized what was going on!

Justina KIlliam Memorial Marker
Please contact me right away. Additional funds have become available for a marker for her grave and I want to make sure one hasn't already been done by the family.

Future's Past
Hingos at Holy Cross
Hi Sheila,
I visited Holy Cross today and looked for the Hingos plot. It appears there is no stone on the grave. I will mark you photo request as an 'issue' as not having a stone but I will look again when I go back to be sure I didn't miss it.

RE: Raymond & Carlyn Leurquin
There a Ernest 1885-1961 & Margaret Leurguin 1885-1956 in the next plot. I added them too. I found them first.

I was surprised when I saw the request. I used to know Don from working at Franklin. He was a very nice guy.

Danke Shoen for transfer of Mugg/Meyer memorials
Just a quick note to express my heart-felt gratitude for BOTH initially creating these memorials AND for your willingness to transfer them over to my care. I'll get busy updating them to add relevant life details & family links.

Sheila, I wanted to bring this to your attention. I found that there are records in Find A Grave at Woodlawn for a Bertha and Louis with the last name of Hammersmith. I sent the following email to the creator of those records to clarify if they are duplicates. The following is my message to him.
I was entering photos for Hammerschmidts and noticed that you have created records for Bertha and Louis Hammersmith with the same dates of birth/death as the records previously created for the Hammerschmidts. Could these be the same people? The Hammerschmidt's are located in section 11 of Woodlawn. The Hammerschmidts are buried near a Florence Hammersmith.

RE: Louis Hammerschmidt
You are very welcome. I also photographed a Bertha Hammerschmidt that was buried near Louis. I entered her into Find A Grave along with her picture. I don't know if they are related.

RE: South Elmdale Church Cemetery

When you read the inscriptions for the Morrison County Historical Society, did you go from south to north by row?

Did you view cemetery map that Bob Clear might have?

RE: Teckla & George Grundtner
You're welcome! I wanted to try and get them done before the snow. It's much easier to find the flat markers that way.

Do you plan to enter those burials not yet in Find A Grave for South Elmdale Church Cemetery and take pictures of gravestones so all are covered?
