RE: Lloyd and Audrey Lowenstein memorial's
I'm sorry that I rattled off a lot of stuff. Yes, please do keep the memorials. You have done a great job.

I don't know what time it is where you are located. It's 2:07 a.m. here is Crofton, Kentucky. I'm a night owl. Didn't know if that was your case too.

And you are truly a good person to have no problem transferring what you have worked on. Some consider it a status to keep all their memorials, but you have a good heart. Thank you for what you do.

I am sorry that I couldn't contribute more on Lloyd "Bubba" and Audrey. Unfortunately, most of their families members are all gone, so I couldn't get my hands on anything else. Bubba was my husband's cousin, but he doesn't really know the sisters anymore. He hasn't seen them in years. And Audrey was my cousin and just about all of her family is gone also. She has an maternal uncle and an maternal aunt, but both live away. They were younger than me, so I never spent much time around them.

Thank you for continuing to maintain their memorials. I should have clearly said that the first time, sorry. Think I may have to turn in now, I'm getting to where I can't think straight, ha-ha.
Sincerely,
Donna

RE: Lloyd and Audrey Lowenstein memorial's
Melvin: Thank you for making the changes. I appreciate it.

I want to honestly thank you for offering to transfer Bubba (#147054626) & Audrey (#118075898) to me. I had lost touch with Bubba the last few years. But it looks like Rhonda de Alvarado (#47669259) was a very close friend of his. Rhonda obviously knows far more about him, than I do. She has a memorial page for him. She lists him as being cremated and doesn't say that he is in Trigg Memory Acres.

As for Audrey, Terri (#47548074) has Audrey's mother, Janice Kay Allen Gray"s (#142083100) memorial page. She also has Audrey's maternal grandparents (Janice's parents) too. I don't know Terri or whether she is a relative to them or not.

I don't have anything else that I can add to either Bubba or Audrey, so I wouldn't be able to do anything any different from what you have already done.

At the moment I am just trying to get my very close family members' memorials transferred to me, so I can do a lot of straightening out missing and misinformation. I am new to all of this, and am getting my feet wet with just the few of my close relatives that have been transferred so far.

I love your attitude about being willing to transfer memorials to family members. You are being humble by calling yourself just the picture taker. I really wish more non-related contributors had your attitude; it would make it so much easier on the direct family members.

I look forward to corresponding with you again, you seem like a very nice person.
Sincerely,
Donna

Hi Melvin: I wanted to let you know that you posted the same picture 3 times on this memorial. It's the one that is a monument erected by his descendents.

Thanks for fixing it. TONI

RE: Drewry Bridges Cemetery
Drewry/Drury Bridges, is my 4th great-grandfather. His name is more often spelled Drury in records. The Congressional Record honoring him and the Kentucky State Historical Marker at his homesite spell his name Drury. The headstone is weathered but appears to say Drewry, as does the cemetery sign. I took the photo. When we buried my mother's remains (direct descendent, nee Nettie C. Bridges) in that cemetery a few years ago, the cemetery was listed as the Drury Bridges Cemetery in town records. It's a bit of a judgement call. I could use Drewry (Drury) Bridges Cemetery.

RE: Bridges Corrections
Thank you for the pics of the two!! And actually Drury Bridges is correct according to the Trigg County Cemetery Book. If you notice, there is another misspelled word in the sign. When people misspell cemetery it drives me insane. Hhahaha.

I don't know which way is right. But I do know that I appreciate you and I hope you and your wife are well.

Have a great weekend!!
Brandy

P.S. if you have any questions on a cemetery in Trigg, just ask. I've got 'em covered and always willing to help. (Except LBL)

RE: Paul Doss
Unfortunately, he's buried in a part of the cemetery where lots of the graves don't have any markers (though enough for us to know we have the right plot!). I'm afraid that's why it's taken so long for anyone to look in this section - no-one expects to be successful. My friend and I checked about 25 requests today in this section and unfortunately none had gravestones.

Hi Melvin, since you won't be on for awhile, I just wanted to update you and let you know I know have TY's death certificate and census of him and Florence and I was indeed able to locate him on find a grave, with help from another member as well. I don't have any pictures of him, but at least I do have information and know he is my Great Grandfather, and the Woodrow Wilson was my Grandfather. Thanks again for all the help. I have the link to the Thomas Y Maddux-original spelling instead of Maddox I found out on my virtual cemetery "the Merediths" Thanks for all your help, and prayers all goes well for you and your wife.

Hi Melvin, I don't think it will let me submit a photo request since I can't find any information on TY Maddox. I can't seem to find a page made for him on findagrave. I guess he was never added to it?

TY or Thomas Maddox
I'm not sure what cemetery he would be buried in, but I know he passed before my Great Grandma Florence, she died in 1949, I have tried to find his orbit, but to no luck, I can't find any information out on him, I'm not sure if he has an unmarked or marked grave. Thanks Melvin :)

RE: Mary Meredith marker
Thank you so much Melvin, those are the ones I was looking for, I was trying to figure out if my Great Grandmother was buried as Florence Nannie Maddox Meredith, because I have a virtual cemetery that was found for me, which is her's and it is an unmarked grave, but I thought the name on there was under Florence Ellen Burke Meredith, thank you for clearing this up for me, so I know that a TY Maddox does exist, would there be any orbits on a TY Maddow, or Thomas Y Maddox that you would know of? He is still the one I have been in search for. Thanks so much for the information on My Great Grandmother and Grandfather, now I just need to find the information on the TY Maddow, he is my Great Grandfather :)

Thanks Melvin, I don't believe any of them are related, just have the same last name. Most of her family is buried in the Jones and Ross Turner Cemetery, who all passed before she did, and her daughter, my Mom is buried in Missouri. She has two sons James and Jackie Maddox, but I don't believe they are buried there either. I think they were cremated. Thank you for the information, really appreciate it. Doing my best to locate family.

RE: Wilks W Miller
Hi Melvin,

I was given info that Joseph Miller is a JR. tax rolls 1837 Stewart Co Tn.

Don't know Joseph Sr birth or death dates.
Joseph Miller was born in 1806 Stewart Co Tn. Joseph & family moved to Trigg Co Ky around 1853,"where they lived to a good old age" Goodspeed Stewart Co History.
I have checked cemeteries in Stewart Co., no luck.
Joseph was listed on the 1870 census, but not 1880 census. There is a Joseph Miller buried 1872, Louisville Ky, not sure if that was him.. Another Joseph Miller d 1898 Louisville Ky, I'm sure this isn't him because he wasn't listed in the 1880 census as far as I can tell. Any information or help,I would appreciate.
Thanks
Pat
