Andrew Parkin
Mrs. Lessie Parkin's decedents
hello my name is Andrew J. Parkin i am the grandchild of Robert Amos Parkin who was one of four children she had with her husband Amos Robert Parkin, starting with the oldest Phyllis Parkin (died when she fell down stairs), then came Roger Parkin (died due to what i think was cancer had half his brain removed), then came Robert Parkin still alive living in ventura, and Kenneth Parkin he is still alive as well. My grandpa has drawn pictures of his grandfather on the hornbuckle side and has always talked about how we had a relative on that side who rode in great rodeo like shows. please i would love to hear back and please do email me i really want to know more about my family history on this side.

Census records and I believe it was also in the Hornbuckle book. Effie would also be a nickname for Euphemia.

RE: Hornbuckle's
Yes I did have the red book but have given it to my son. I talk to Les Hornbuckle a couple of times a year. He is one of the men that wrote it. Sterling Price Hornbuckle Sr was her father and Mary Louisa Everhart was her mother. She was married twice, Frank Case and Roy C Parker. One daughter Dorothy Parker b. 12 Nov 1913 in Missouri. If you would like access to my tree send me your email address. I have over 46,000 names in it as of today.

Elaine Crummer's phone number is 307-358-2329. I doubt she knows anything about the Find-a-Grave website. Her dad's saddle has been donated to the Wyoming Museum here in Douglas.
I knew Elaine's mother, Bessie, but never knew her father. Betty

RE: Richard Hornbuckle
Richard Quay Hornbuckle was her father (as you can see in his obit). We also had music sessions sometimes with Richard Hornbuckle, Jr.

Hi...
I transferred the memorial to you. Guy's mother, Bertha Goodsell Rogers, and I share a common ancestor back in the early 1800's...thats why I maintained his memorial. Glad to have you maintain it now.

A Marine's Daughter
RE: James Hornbuckle
You betcha. And, thanks for your service to our country. The Marines wouldn't take me because of a birth defect in one eye that isn't correctable to 20/20. But, I have many relatives who served.

What an interesting history Ol' James had. In my not-so-humble opinion, the War of 1812 was the only fairly decent thing Old Hickory was ever involved with.
