RE: Alfred Siptroth
I suggest that you add a note in the the 'Notes' field saying the name on the gravestone is wrong or you may receive more notes in the future.

Have a good day,

Albert Conklin grave photo
I notice that you have a photo request for the grave of Albert Conklin in Woodlawn Cemetery in New Windsor, New York. I live right next to the cemetery and go walking there a few times a week. I'd be happy to take a picture of your loved one's grave, but since it's quite a large cemetery, it would be helpful if you could find out the section and lot. You can reach the Woodlawn Cemetery office at 845-561-1249. If you can give me that info, I should have the picture up within a few weeks.

If you are related to Argeroula A. Manetas, tell me, and I will transfer.
I will not transfer to anyone unless they are related.

Mark Weitzel
Korts Family
Hi Anna, I have posted some photos for the Korts Family buried at Pine Grove Cemetery, Allegany County, NY. Just in case you can't read the inscriptions etc. I thought I would give you the info. Augusta M. Korts #79111461 shows as the wife of T. Korts(Truman?) and daughter of G. and E. Wagner. Truman's middle initial looks like "N". Now the confusion starts...we also have Cora Wagner wife of Truman N. Korts on the same stone as Augusta and Truman. I hope this helps a little in your research. Mark Weitzel

Beatrice Clark / Prospect Hill
Hi. Regarding the photo request for Beatrice, I don't believe there is a marker. Prospect Hill has detailed records showing her as being in Section 48, Lot 10. Section 48 is smallish area about 10 yards by 60 yards -- I saw no stone there. I'm not sure how the lots are laid out, but there was no marker in the vicinity of others in Lot 10. I searched the entire cemetery; there are a few Clarks, but none mentioned Beatrice. I took a few pictures of Section 48 in general, if you would like me to post those. I wasn't sure exactly who was in Lot 10 when I was there (I rechecked the list afterwards). If you would like me to photograph that area specifically, I can do that when I'm back in the area.

As you can see the stone is buried and all you can see is the name. I'm so sorry. But I thought you would still want this picture.

Siptroths in Miller Cemetery
Hello Anna,

I was in the small Miller Cemetery in Lackawanna County Pennsylvania today and I found another Siptroth family stone. Monroe D. Siptroth, a WWII vet (1905-1991) and Doris L. Siptroth (1905-1969). Let me know if they are in your tree as I have the pictures.

Best regards,

Hi! It's Liz, thought I'd give you a link to my Find A Grave page by writing you a message on here. It was so awesome to find someone else that enjoys photographing the cemeteries. It was so coincidental that we met, because it was on a whim that I decided to go to that Prairie (Bone Valley) cemetery today. It really wasn't in my agenda! Funny how things work. Happy New Year!

Pauline Conklin
Hi Anna - I had tried to find grave for Pauline in Gardenview section. I searched all over - the grave must be covered with grass. Contact the cemetery and ask them to clean it up (after the snow is gone) and I'll try to get the photo for you.

Jim Adcox
Wm Korts
I could not find a record for this person at Hamption National or VA grave locator. Grave number 8878, located in Phoebus section C, is marked as " Cornelius C. Willett. QM Sgt Co G 12th US Inf DOD 05/31/1905." WM Korts is shown at this grave location with a DOD 05/30/1905. Close, so maybe we have an alias here. Close DOD and both from PA. Only one 8878 at Hampton National.

Should be the right one. A cemetery staff member confirmed the location you supplied and accompanied me to the burial site. I will fulfill the request for Frank Kortz as soon as possible...hopefully before we get too much snow.

I fulfilled a photo request for you for Fred Kortz. The memorial page lists "Fred LEWIS Kortz but the marker shows Fred B. Hope it's the right one?
