I am writing thinking I could send you a picture of Sammie Keleer now, but I see I have no way to send a picture to you from this. I do have a picture of Sally, but not a very good one also. Lenora

Hi Phil, I have a Lucy Jane Rice Brannin in a cemetery I found on a neighbors farm. Would she be of interest to you? I also think there is a Brannin cemetery south of Otterville, Mo. (Morgan Co)

Are you related to the above? She was my first cousin twice removed. I would like to ask permission to use your pictures for my family history and on Ancestry.com. I would, of course, credit you with the photo.

Thank you for the work you do, it is appreciated.

Was wondering if you would link Sally up with Roger Southern as her husband. He is in the New Auburn, CA. You know she must of had a lot of pictures taken of her, as she was a top model of Sacrament CA. Wonder where one could get one,

RE: 97024129
you said that Sally was your wife's 1st cousin. What is your wife's name so I can ask Samantha if she has a cousin by that name. I thought it said she married Roger in 1983,first mistake I made here, as she married him in 1973 and I do not have the year she was born in, but from the records on the headstone, Sally was born in 1955. That would of been right too, as she was 19 when they got married in Reno NV. it says she got killed in 1977 , and that would be right too, as she had Samatha June on June 30th 1974. Well it is all matching up right again isn't it. I have been trying to find a picture of her from Google as for her being the top model in Sacramento then, but can't find one, not even of the car crash on the Sacramento River bridge the year of 77, Does your wife have a picture of Samantha?? I would know her for sure that way. I have also went back into Sally's husband's grave site Roger Souther in the New Auburn Cem. and put in his daughter's name and who she is married too, and their 3 children. Samantha lives in Rockling with her husband and 3 children. Keeley is Samantha's last name, I even spelled it wrong on Rogers site. what next. do get back to me on this, so I will know for sure, thank you for writing and clearing this all up again. Lenora

I have finally found my neice Sally June Bidstrup that died in a car crash in May of 1977, It was a head on, with the big bridge going out of Sac towards woodland, she hit the corner of the rails at the beginning of the bridge, traveling pretty fast. She was born in 5-11-1955 died 5-15-1977. She was a one of the top models in Sacramento CA. She married my nephew Irvin Southern, and they had a child together by the name of Samantha June Southern born 6-30-1974 in Sac. CA. She is now married and has 3 children. You can go to FindAGrave.com and bring up the cemetery New Auburn, then type in the name Roger Southern, he was adoped by Roger Southern. but him and his mothers grave are there. Leona Southern for most of the information you would be looking for. I know very little about Sallys family except they are all gone, but one sister now but she has a different mother. I have been trying to find a picture of her for she was a very well know model in that day, but can't find one to be able to put it on her grave site. Maybe you can find one. I will be checking back later to see what you can come up with. Mrs. Collier

I made a mistake on the dates of Joseph Spurgin who married Phoebe Brazelton. He was born in 1783 and died in 1849. Seems that I didn't change my records after Vivian got the Josephs sorted out, Sorry Roger

There is in most generations of this family the names of Joseph, William Samuel and John. I have learned to keep them separated by birth and who they married.

The lady that researched your line was confused by these Josephs for several years, till she figured it out. The Joseph that I posted the tombstone on is my 2nd great granduncle and descends from Col Wm. Spurgin Esquire, Samuel, your ancestor was the brother of Col Wm.

I have checked with the cemetery and they have no record of a burial for Jeremiah Griffin.

You should know that there technically is no "Rose Hill Cemetery." The cemetery is called Kirkland Cemetery. It is located on Rose Hill in Kirkland.

I'm not sure who created this cemetery or why people keep adding names to it.

Sorry, I couldn't have been more help.

I noticed May Mason was buried right next to the Carters. Was she related? I took a picture of her grave just in case. Also many James family members were buried in the Lot as well. Let me know.

Got it! There is a flat marker near his wife's large marker. I also had the lady edited the info in the database to reflect it is I, not T McDonald. They had McDonal.

I called the cemetery office back b/c she said there was a T. McDonald when I was there this morning. I I had not looked at the memorial page until I could not "find" him! I asked her to look again at the writing. She said the script was hard to read in the original book, and could be an I. I will return tomorrow to look at the location. It is next to Rebecca, wife of I.M. Carter. So sorry that I did not print the memorial page as I usually do when I go to look for the graves! The lady says she does not know if there is a marker for the husband, but the wife has one.
