RE: East Winthrop Cemetery- True, Hewett
Happily send any others and if you need more pics - I work in Winthrop and could sneak off to the cemetery at any time :)

Thanks. As soon as he gets information from my entry, I will move the picture to his memorial and then delete mine.

Okay, I didn't have enough information to know what you meant. John Gibney's record precedes mine, so mine should be deleted. His has the incorrect spelling and not much information. Did you contact him ? He should take all the information off of mine and then I could delete the one I entered.

Rosa Borofski
There is only one memorial for Rosa Borofski in this particular cemetery so I am not sure what you are talking about.

freedmans
Regarding the Freedmans in Ahabat Shalom of Lynn City Lodge, I think that all the interments in tht cemetery have been photographed, but I am having a problem viewing them in Find A Grave, and when I bring up the list, none show that they have been photographed, even though they are. I wonder if anyone else is having this problem viewing photos.
Thank you for looking, Rick. Should you go by them again, please look at the other sides of the stones and see if there is any Hebrew inscription to photograph.
All the best.
Yours,
Ava

RE: Esther Daniels memorial
Hi Dick,
I will put up requests as I make the memorials. I will make a list when I am done and send it to you.
Thank you so much.
I'm not sure why Esther is listed as being in Sally's grave location. They are not the same person.
All the best.
Yours,
Ava

RE: Esther Daniels memorial
Hi Dick,
I should have called the cemetery to make sure they are both there. I expect you mean the Daniels in Beth Joseph Cemetery #03. I don't think there is a stone there for Esther if she is there. There is already a photo up for Sally, but check your photo to make sure it is the same person. Thank you so much for looking for Esther's grave.
Did you by any chance take any other pictures for which I can request photos? There are other Daniels there. I already got photos for Louis and Rebecca. I don't know who else in the family is buried there.
Thank you again for all your trouble.
I wish you all the best.
Yours,
Ava

RE: Baron
So far nobody has added New T-I of Winthrop. But since it's on the JCAM map, you'd think they would make the distinction.

I try to go with the flow -- some cemeteries are lumped and you have to put the section name in the plot or in a note, others are split even though nobody can tell the boundary anymore.
Looking at the JCAM map, they have old and new Tifereth Israel of Everett at bottom and top ends of the Fuller Street complex, with T-I of Winthrop in the lower left and New T-I of Winthrop over on the far right. So it doesn't look like they touch each other. Do you have a sense of how many burials might be in the new section?

I'll go ahead and split off the new cemetery and move the Barons there. Thanks for the heads-up.

Thanks, all patched up. I found the SSDI and it was indeed 1966. Pictures came out great, thanks again...

Alan Hirshberg
I found him listed by JCAM (as Allan), added memorial for him (as Alan):
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=131469544

Also added Iser J Hirshberg, in section 28. I've used up my 20 photo requests for the moment. Maybe one will come free tomorrow.

I will try to figure out how these folks are connected.

It's not unusual to see a couple years variation on data of birth between the census and what's on the stone. Unless I have a really strong case I usually put what's on the stone. Came across a correction today where the obituary was printed on the 11th of the month, but the stone said they died on the 16th... not sure how that slip-up went without getting fixed.

Thank you for the great photos!

I have a photo request open for Anna Shore, wife of Morris. You provided a photo of his side of their stone, and I was hoping you had a shot of her side as well. Thanks,

RE: Simon Gordon & family
Thanks for the heads-up on the other family members, and for providing the photos.

The Newman couple turns out to be son and daughter-in-law of Simon and Mary -- Louis apparently changed his last name from Nudelman to Newman.

Don't know where the husband of Eva might be, he was the late I[sador] Sidney Borenstein when their daughter was married in 1953.

Regards,
