|Chrissy Miller||Justus Flint's headstone|
Just wanted to give you my heartfelt thanks for posting a picture of my Great Uncle (Staff Sergeant) Justus Flint's headstone at the American cemetery in Normandy. I hope to go in person to visit it myself someday, but in the meantime, I really appreciate the photo you posted.

Dear Roy Riggers,
my name is Erwin de Mooij and I am the content webmaster for the 457th Bomb Group Association website.
At this moment I am working on a virtual cemetery/memorial on the website honering all 339 KIA/MIA/KIS of the group.
I saw your picture of Leroy Wetzel's grave marker and I was wondering if I could use it for the memorial.
We would greatly appreciate it.

My wife and I recently visited the American Cemetery in Normandy and were very moved by the experience, even though we had no personal connection to any of the people buried. I very much appreciate your photo of my uncle's headstone.

|John Tippet||RE: Hartley|
Robert Leroy Hartley married Jesse Blanche Botkin. She was the daughter of Gillian A Peebles and step daughter of James Henry Armstrong. James Henry Armstrong was the son of Ruth Perrine and Grandson of William Perrine and Rachel Lippincott, my 3rd great grandparents. I requested a photo of Robert Hartley's tombstone because I wanted to see if his wife, Jesse Botkin, was buried in the same cemetery.

Hey Joy, Gonna take a trip huh? LOL There are, of course, a great group of folks that take photos for Arlington so I've got all them that I need for right now.
If you'd like, I can come meet you, maybe at Arlington, on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday if you'd like. It's only about two hours away for me. Let me know .... The only days I'm not doing anything next week.

Joy, thank you so much for taking a picture of Howards gravestone for us. My great grandmother never thought she would get to see her brothers grave before she passed, and thanks to you she finally got to see it. Once again thank you so much!

Hi Joy, Evidently Find A Grave "burbed" (LOL) when you added the photos for this soldier ... There are three of the same one. Can you please delete two of them?
Thanks so much Joy. :-)

Thank you so much for finding this marker. I made the request a while ago. I figured it was not going to happen. My Dad will be thrilled to see it. He was unable to visit this location on his WW2 tour last year.

I can't thank you enough for taking the wonderful photos of this gravesite. Neither of my aunts or cousins had ever seen where their husband/brother/father was laid to rest, and it means so much to them. I made each of them a set of the photos. They were moved to tears to be able to visualize where he is.
Thank you for your kind heart and your time.
