Please ignore my edit, I mixed up the first names! Wish there was a way to undo a SAC. Apologies.

Shafer / Parmlee
Happy to transfer Gertrude to you.

I will check the area around the Shafer / Thorington site to see if a Parmlee is buried there. I could not find them in the city database but I have added their name to my "look for" list. I will keep an eye out for that name when I visit Greenwood and the other city cemeteries.

:-) Marni

Susan Thorington
I am SO happy that she is now connected to her husband! I'm always hopeful that I can help connect families. :-)

In my original message to you, I mentioned Oak Hill cemetery when I meant to write GREENWOOD which is where Susan is buried. (My apologies) I have transferred Susan to you.

On a side note,I was at OakHill to fulfill a request for Dora Thorington (and Smith Jr.) and noticed that there is another headstone within the plot ... identical to the Thorington monuments. The names (on one headstone) are Fannie Knapp (1880 - 1958) and Benjamin Knapp (1880 - 1956).

Do they show up in your family genealogy?

Susan Thorington
I recently visited Oak Hill cemetery to photograph another Thornington (Smith Thorington) and later came across Susan. She is buried with John M. Shafer, Sarah Thorington Shafer and Gertrude Shafer and all their names are on one monument.

Is it possible Susan is Stutley Thorington's wife?

Her memorial id is 9021501.

If she is family, I would be happy to transfer ownership to you.

Always looking to connect families!

RE: Louis Ryan and family
You're very welcome! No, I didn't notice another Franz headstone. You might try calling the cemetery office. They could certainly give you that info. Good luck!

RE: Ferdinand Schmitt
Go ahead and make a normal request. That way, if I can't get to it in a timely manner, maybe someone else can.

You're very welcome! I also have a bonus for you. There were other stones there as well. Two women named Anna, another Ferdinand, and a lady named Emma. I'll upload those pics shortly!
