RE: Jane Rider
Thank you for writing. You have made me realize that my entry is a duplicate. I will delete it. Jane is apparently what she went by. Her first name was actually Sarah. Maiden name was Nix. Is that a match? See Find A Grave Memorial# 5924819

Yes, she is listed. You can find the reference I quoted at https://familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/Oklahoma_Cemeteries There are some leads on the other memorial I think you can follow. I don't have anything else about her, but the next time I am over at the Oklahoma library I go to, I will check further for you. Hope this is something you can get started on for now.

RE: George W Greeson
My great-great-grandfather George W. Greeson is buried at Harmony Grove in Barrow County. You can look at his memorial #15711230 and see if you have anything on him. Thank you. Who are you descended from? You can e-mail me if you like patandbob@windstream.net. Thank you so much for writing.

I added the photos. You may want to put them in reverse order.

I did the transfer. Sorry, I'm nowhere near the cemetery or I would be glad to take pictures. I live in extreme southeast Georgia. Do anything you like with the death certificate and information. Are you familiar with Georgia's Virtual Vault? It's a mine of information about early Georgia and it's people. I don't offhand remember the e-address but just search "ga's vir" and you'll find it.
Enjoy! Marsha

"Gleeson" was a typo which I've corrected. Thanks for the heads-up. I also added her death certificate and information about her family from the 1920 census. I'll be glad to transfer her to you if you like.
Peace, Marsha

RE: Rock Spring Cem -Jones
I was inquiring about the Jones when I was told most of the ones in Section A are related.
The reason I inquired was that a lot of the graves need upkeep and repair. I was told that they had died and the rest had moved away.
So I am afraid that there is no one here that can help. As far as I know there has not even been a flower on any of the Section A Jones graves in the twenty some odd years I've been here.

Nicole,
In section A of the cemetery there are 5 Jones together.
They are in order as they are in the cemetery Johnie 11/16/1888-10/3/1889
Elizabeth E. 1/10/1849-4/101917
John 6/9/1847-8/29/1889
Doralee 1/14/1875-11/12/1947
Miss Ludie 2/22/1880-9/29/1953
There may be more behind them in the next row but I would need to visit the cemetery for that.
I do picture request for that cemetery but only when I am going that way as it is a few miles from me. There are about 35 Jones buried in section A and someone once told me that they are related.

The Minnie you asked about is in section C, buried next to her husband Henry B. It's a good distance from A. with section B between them. I doubt if that is your Minnie as those are newer graves. A is the old section and even to have been buried there in 53 they would have had to have a lot already there. They stopped selling lots there because the plotting is long lost and there would be danger of digging hitting old graves. I'll transfer Elizabeth and John, let me know if you decide Minnie is your husband's relative.

RE: William Greeson
My pleasure to transfer the Greeson memorial to a family member. In regard to your request: please mail any copies of family information to Northeast Alabama Genealogical Society, Nichols Memorial Library, P.O. Box 8268, Gadsden, Alabama 35902. We would love to add them to our "more than 5,000 files." I have been a member there for over 20 years. If you have any other tombstone photos you would like in this area I will try to assist you. I will look for Addie's grave marker the next time I am at Forrest Cemetery. Nancy

RE: Andrew J Jones
Hi Nicole,

I deleted the memorial that I had for Andrew J. Jones so that you may create a new one for him yourself and add your info. to it.

I know that the "Northeast Alabama Genealogical Society", located in Alabama City, Etowah Co., AL has a lot of information on the Jones families of Etowah Co., AL. They would be able to help you with some of the questions you have.

I don't have any more information on the Jones buried at Forrest Cemetery other than what I have on the individual memorials.

Until Later......God Bless,
Judith Nan Lewis

Addie Green Greeson
Hi Nicole,

This was all I had on Addie. I had a very strong feeling that the transcribed death info. for her had errors in it and I appreciate your sharing the correct information for her. I have added it to her memorial for you.

Until Later....God Bless,
Judith Nan Lewis
