Lee E. Culler
Hi Richard!

I don't know if you received my message. The duplicate that you created for Lee E. Culler memorial number 112054237, can only be deleted by you. You transfered it to me, and I can't delete it, since you created it. Would you please take care of that for me.
Thanks again for all your hard work. I did a couple of big cemeteries here in Ohio, and I know the time and work that goes into it, when you do it right. I walked stone to stone recording and taking pictures of every stone, so I would not miss anyone.
Thanks again, Richard Culler

Amen to the snow. Yes,I know Madison heights. Actually one of my best friends was a cop with Sterling Heights. Tim Bishop. Not sure if you remember but he was flying his plane around the FOP Hall in Sterling heights and hit a radio tower and died. Anyhow, He was a good friend and I miss him.

That is funny. I think half the folks in Venice are Michigan Ex Pats. I am from Romeo. All of my kids are grown and up there. My mom lives in Venice as well. I use to go to Royal Oak (music theater and the Mongolian BBQ) I head up to Michigan for a week each fall for color change and the cider mills.

Barbara?
Hi Richard. I am wondering who Barbara Cody Shook is. I don't have her in my database. I'll take a look as it may explain to me at the site.

RE: Shook
Hi Richard. Yes Charles and Velma are Archie and Danes Parents. I have not seen a site for Dane yet but I haven't looked. Velma and Charles (uncle Lloyd) already has one and their pictures are posted. I am interested in the picture of Dane's headstone if or when his site is done. Thanks again for such a fast response.

Found another one
Found another one of Hiram & Mary Elizabeth Britton's kids. She's not on your family tree, but I found her anyway (I'm not that much of a sleuth, she's buried in Pawling, 6 feet under, so it's not like she could run away). Her name was Jessie, b 1881, d 1965, married Edward Benedict (1876-1928). They had two kids, Elinore, who married George Manchester and is buried with Edward & Jessie, and Mildred, who married John Sifer and lived in Rensselaer, NY (had at least two kids, Mary Lee, born March 14, 1948, and Linda Jean, who was 19 months old when Mary Lee was born.) All this from various newspaper articles found when I was searching for an obit for Jessie and Edward. I found obits for both, but Edward's is awful, even having him buried in the wrong cemetery.

Anyway, I'm going to enter their info into the database, then I'll transfer them over to you.

Oops on that last message
Hi. I meant to request for you to post the lovely gravestone photo for Christine Pettit's hubby William Thomas Pettit on my memorial I made for him which was done before yours. It is #87535498. Nice job on the photos. John Egge is apparently related to this family too. I like getting the pieces of the puzzle correct... ;D

Photo Request #2
Hi. John Egge also suggested you post your nice photo for Christine Margaret Parsons Pettit on my memorial for her too, which was done before yours was made. (Her middle name is Margaret and not Martin, btw.) Her memorial I made is #87535311. I've enjoyed posting these relatives of my hubby's on Find A Grave. I just didn't know where they were buried until John Egge notified me. Thanks. Have a great day! ;D

Photo Request
Hi. I was notified by John Egge about my memorial for Christine Pettit (my hubby's relative) and added her burial place. I see you made a memorial after mine and posted a nice photo of her gravestone. Would you be willing to post that lovely photo on my memorial I have for her? Her memorial I did is #87535311. Thanks! ;D

Wolfes
Thanks fot the help with the pictures at Venice Gardens. I'm not sure that any of the other Wolfes that are buried there are connected to Darwin and Mable. I can't place any connection to them at this time. They had moved to that area rather late in life to be near their son who was living in the area so I rather doubt there is anything close at all.

Found Anna Brumm's obit
Found Anna Brumm, she was the daughter of Hiram & Mary. I wrote to the guy to ask her link them up.

She died Jan 19, 1950 in Pawling.

Says she's survived by a brother, Frederick of Plymouth Mass, and 2 sisters, the aforementioned Mrs Jennie Benedict, and a Mrs. Charles Marshall of Poughkeepsie.

Who is Mrs Charles Marshall? I assume it might be siter Lillie, remarried?

Lord there were alot of Brittons. You must have one really big family tree.

I'll email you a copy of the obit as a jpg.

More Brittons
I just found another Britton. This one is William, who turns out to be a son of Hiram & Mary, brother of George. Of course, since I'm anal, I had to figure out who the heck he was. While searching I found some other ones, none of which I've entered yet, as I'm still looking.

I found William in 1880, living in Danbury with his sister, Sarah, who is married to Reuben Haigh [probably Haight]. Do you know who Sarah is?

I also found an obit on a Minnie Ferguson, daughter of Hiram, died 1923 Stamford, Conn. Says she was 34, so it seems like she'd be the daughter of Hiram & Mary.

Then there appears to be a bunch of half siblings, or at least that's how they're described in William's obit, so I assume they're the children of Hiram's second wife. The ones listed are Jennie Benedict, Pawling; Anna Brumm, wife of Rudolph (she's on the data base, #37663798, died 1950); Lillie Frye, wife of Arnold, Golden's Bridge; Fred Britton, Plymouth, Mass, where Hiram also lived inn 1923

Are these names familiar to you? Have I got the relationships right [like the mother]? I don't want to start linking people up and find out I did it wrong.

Do you know where Hiram's second wife is buried?

When I get the people entered, I'll turn them over to you if you want them. Meanwhile I'll write to the guy who manages Anna Brumm (it was transferred to him, so he might be a relative of yours] and ask him to link Anna to Hiram.

Hello, my name is Michael Crouse. I believe you posted a photo of my Grandfather's gravesite. Walter Crouse. Can you tell me or provide any additional information to this? Is there a date listed for his birth/death? Is this located near Venice Florida?

Thank you,
