Not sure if this is the right stone....if not, let me know and I'll delete it. Sorry I did not photo the other side.

RE: Winfield Scott and Evangeline Hayes Morrison
Ellen, a postscript to my last. Researching a little further, I find that all three of the Morrison girls married in the 1940s. Mary married William J. Comerford, Jane married John R. Kearney, Geraldine married Ed Richards. Geraldine passed away in 2000, Mary in 1997, Jane in 1968.

RE: Winfield Scott and Evangeline Hayes Morrison
Hi, thanks for the response!

1) Mary Evangeline Morrison (1914-1997) went to University of Michigan and a few years later (June 1942) married William J. Comerford of Detroit. I think Comerford was originally from Buffalo. According to the marriage notice, they were going to live in Grosse Pointe. They may have moved to Texas in the late 40s but I'm not certain. I haven't found any children.
2) Jane M. Morrison (1916-1999), no information for spouse or issue.
3) Geraldine E. Morrison (1918-2000) married Robert E. ('Ed') Richards (1915-2001) and had two sons, Thomas (1950- ) and James (1952 - ). They mainly lived in Broadalbin, NY, Ed's hometown. The two sons were living respectively in Camarillo, CA and Broadalbin, NY as of 2001.

I have some social and obit clippings for the above. You can shoot me a note at margot [AT] nwfirst [DOT] com.

Winfield Scott and Evangeline Hayes Morrison
I noticed your note when I looked up this grave. These were first cousins, thrice removed, of mine. Evangeline was the daughter of my great-great-grandfather's youngest brother.

Thank you so much. Al Loftus is also my Uncle the older brother of Dick and Jesse is his wife. Uncle Dick played major league ball with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played against Babe Ruth. I will check with St. Bernards as that is where the Loftus family plot is. Thanks again for your efforts. Linda Loftus Thiel
