Does that mean Harold isn't in the cemetery?

I just noticed; you did give me the cemetery. How did you do that? GREAT. Would Harold be there also? Linda

Gladys Baggaley Coleman
She is a Baggaley and while working with a relative from Sweden, he finally got from relatives in B.C. where she died. Not sure what cemetery or even if you are close. The phone number to the cemetery is 250-426-4211 (Westlawn Cemetery). Does it cost you to make the call?

Charles said that she died in Cranbrook.
I have hooked her up with John Baggaley and she is without a death date and a place to call her own. I know you don't like that but I just could not control myself.

Re: Douglas McKenzie, Robert and Marion McKenzie
Thank you so much for creating this memorial for my grandparents and great-uncle. Douglas was my father's only sibling and he died suddenly at age 14 of an unknown illness. I've posted photos of all of them on the appropriate memorial pages. I just wanted you to know that your work is greatly appreciated.

RE: Carrmichael
Sorry, I meant that I have Margaret Carmichael Howson's children & their descendants & have them in cemeteries and on Ancestry tree. If you wish to retain control over the subject individuals which are direct line, I understand. Have been at this genealogy thing for many years now so have learned not to sweat the small stuff. Only thing I am finding on findagrave is that some contributing members themselves have passed or lost interest and one gets no response to transfer requests or requests for edits. Nice to see you and I are above the grass :)

These ancestors are from Isle of Islay, Scotland.

Here is another ancestor connection for a GGgranduncle Joseph Howson (witness at wedding) and GGgranduncle Donald Carmichael.

010061-76 (Simcoe Co.) Donald CARMICHAEL, 36, farmer, Erin Canada, Nottawasaga, parents - Archibald & Flora CARMICHAEL married Catherine MORRISON, 19, Nottawasaga, Nottawasaga, parents - James & Mary MORRISON, witn, Joseph HOWSON of Collingwood & Isabella CURRIE of Nottawasaga, March 22, 1876 at Nottawasaga.

Believe he is buried in Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Nottawassaga, ON and will work to provide more info for you in this regard. Will add him and ask for link to your memorial.

Regards.

RE: A W Helmer Info - Mountain View Cemetery
Yvonne,

For some reason, I looked at the entry for A W Helmer this morning on Find a Grave, and saw the changes you had made including the copy of the newspaper article. Thank you SO much! Yesterday, I also sent and email to the cemetery administration to see if I could get additional information. I think my next step will be in trying to confirm Andrew's date of birth as I think he was a little older than 16 and seeing about getting a headstone for the grave. Thank you again.

A W Helmer Info - Mountain View Cemetery
Bear Hugs,
Thank you for documenting this information. I believe this is the grave of my great uncle, Andrew Helmer, who was born in North Dakota in the late 1890s and who was killed in an accident on New Year's Day. We weren't sure of the year, but since the cemetery information is from January 3, 1917, I think it is likely this is Andrew. Again, thank you.

Maiden Name Entry
Hi,
Thanks for all your time and effort entering information on Findagrave. I find the site very useful, especially when people like yourself have taken the time to establish relationships within families.

I entered Marie Johnson's maiden name in the wrong field, and it was rejected. Sorry for the error on my part. I am hopeful I got it right this second time.

I will be sending you a large amount of information so that you can link some of the graves you have already done. I think it is a good idea, especially for anyone working on a family history. I will get the info to you in the next week. Thanks for all you do.

Jan
Chesterfield & District Crematorium
Hi - I live near this crematorium and will have a look for any memorials but I don't think there will be anything from 1959. The Chesterfield Borough Council website states there is a 10 year limit on memorials.
I did find an entry in the Book of Remembrance for Elizabeth Seaton. To access the book follow http://sites.bookofremembrance.eu/index.php?site=chesterfield
and find her page by searching for her month and date ofdeath.
I don't think we're allowed to post the entries on Find a Grave though
Kind regards
Jan

Sjolund, Burney - # 142718963
Hi Bear Hugs, thanks for creating the memorial page for Burney Sjolund. I've sent you a correction on his first name via the Edit function so you should have that shortly.

I'm a friend of his sister in Oregon, we get together two or three times a week. I told her I'd check to see if Burney's gravesite had been photographed and posted to Findagrave and was puzzled as to what kind of grave this is. Is there just a plain marble slab over the grave? No headstone or other marker? I've never seen such a thing before so I thought I'd ask.

Thanks so much for the time and effort you've devoted out at this cemetery.

Diane
