Richard E Beckwith
Thsnks for apprising me of the connections Ann. I have made them as suggested, although not sure about the Carol Jean Beckwith you mention as she does not show up in any obits. Could be she was a young child of Rosemary. I am not family but an Army buddy of Richard stationed with him in Vietnam.

ROD for BROWN, Charles Foster
Thanks for some great photos -- I appreciate having them.

When working on Charles, I see a copy of his death certificate. Thought you might want to know that it says he died on 20 July, 1935! He is i9n my lineage and I was privileged to be in Williams County last summer and visit his home (see his barn, at least)!

Thanks again for all your good work!

RE: Hillcrest Cemetery in Erie Co. NY
Thank you for your note. I am aware of the two seperate cemeteries. All my family are on both sides (including my plot across my parents). I'm thinking there may be a third name involved. It drives me nuts when I'm working with F-A-G or genealogy as all my dau.-in-laws were founders of the area and are buried in "Hillcrest" but can't find them in the old section. I was hoping someone would try to do something about it so hope they take note of your request. Looking at "Damba" graves reminds me that have details to add as they were neighbors. I've gotten a little away from F-A-G but each time I get a note from someone, it pulls me back so I thank you for contacting me.

RE: Brown photos
You are quite welcome. The stone was actually pretty easy to read, considering it's age (photos don't always do justice to what one sees).

Stoners at Walnut Grove
Hi Ann.. sorry to keep bugging you.. but while I was looking over and loading my photos for Walnut Grove, I noticed that I also have pics of a few Stoners buried there and one in particular caught my eye.. her name is Ora E. Stoner 1864-1938 and she shares a marker with Abraham Stoner 1861-1909.. and beings that Amanda, (dau of Mary Ann Stoner Bollinger), had a daughter that she named Ora.. well.. I thought you may have some family connection to Abraham Stoner since Ora isn't a name commonly seen..
I'm currently working on getting names and pics added to several different cemeteries here in Williams County and wish I could just snap my finger and they'd all be done, as it is quite time consuming.. but it's a labor of love ;-) and I'm hoping once I get them all loaded it will be much easier for you and other families to trace these folks.. in the meantime tho, I'll keep you informed when I come across names of interest.. and transfer memorials to you if they turn out to be related..

transfers complete
ok.. i've transfered Effie L., Jacob & Mary A., LaMoyne, Elpha C & E.C.B.. After I checked the Walnut Grove site I found that 'Mother' Susan K. & Edward M. Brown belong with another family.. her parents were Nelson & Elizabeth Poulson and she married Truman Brown.. not seeing Truman's name within your email, I assumed that they are not related to your Browns..

transfered memorials
Hi Ann.. got your email and am sifting thru the info.. I've transfered 2 memorials, for Elpha C & LaMoyne Brown over to you.. I'm going to go into Walnut Grove and create memorials for Jacob & Mary A Bollinger and toss these your way as well.. btw Walnut Grove is in Alvordton/Pioneer Williams County.. I'll also try and get to Billingstown cemetery sometime this week and snap a pic of Athelinda Bollinger St. John for you.. as far as the E.C.B marker it very well could be an earlier marker for Elpha C.. I'm finding that alot within these tiny country cemeteries...

Browns & Bollingers
Hi Ann.. received your request for Amanda Bollinger Brown b) 9 Jan 1842 - d) 23 Nov 1920 this morn and was writing to tell you that I have a photo of her marker.. BUT.. she is not buried with a Jacob Brown.. she shares a headstone with Abner K. Brown b)10 Aug 1838 - d) 7 Feb 1897.. there are several other Browns in the plot which include LaMoyne 1886-1906, Elpha Cornelia d)25 Aug 1873 aged 1 yr, 9 mos & 25 days and an E.C.B with no dates.. I have a Jacob Bollinger who died Jan 1886 aged 65 yrs, 1 mo & 6 days with his wife Mary A. who died May 1898 aged 78yrs, 5 mos & 8 days and they are located at Walnut Grove Cemetery which is several miles from Heritage.. Also in Walnut Grove are an Effie L Bolinger (only one L in the name) who died Feb 1896 aged 27 yrs 10 mos 19 days, wife of Elwood Bolinger.. Elwood is NOT located at Walnut Grove.. do you think that the E.C.B located at the Heritage Cemetery with Amanda Bollinger Brown could be Elwood?? There are also a few Browns at Walnut Grove nearby the Bollingers.. they are 'Mother' Susan K Brown 1828-1910 and Edward M. Brown 1867-1894.. but there is no 'Father' Marker.. could E.C.B at Heritage be the husband/father of these Browns??.. I would love to help you sort all these folks out.. if you have any more info you could provide me, it might make it a bit easier.. I also have Browns at a few of the other tiny country cemeteries in Williams County.. I will load the photo of Amanda Brown and the others in the Brown plot located at Heritage Cemetery..
