Carol, You are quite welcome. When I was growing up, I lived with my grandparents on the east side of this cemetery. TheFast family lived on the west side of this cemetery until just a few years ago. In 1848, one of my ancestors, John Baird donated the ground for the cemetery to the Episcopal Methodist Church. The church building is in the background of the picture of John Fast's headstone. It now sits vacant, and in a sad shape of disrepair. I'm sorry that the headstones are in such shape that you can hardly read them anymore, but sandstone monuments just don't hold up well in todays contaminated atmosphere. Have a Great Evening... Colin Baird

Thanks for the information, these are not family members of mine so do not have any information on the family. Mr Bailey I added as he served in the First Special Service Force with my father-in-law and was sad to see he had no memorial so created one with the information I had of his. If you would like to add them that would be great. Thanks for all your help and efforts, Cheers

Carol, Thank you so much for the information on the site. That must have been a tremendeous job to matching those County listings with the grave sites.
I had been there to visit my Grandparents' graves, but was never aware of the fact that the older brother and First born of my family was in that cemetery. Not until I started working on my genealogy did I discover he was there, but did not know where.
Thank you so much

Thank you for taking both photographs and thank you for posting both. They are my great grand uncle and aunt. When I was able to meet Aunt Kate she was in her late 80's and had had a remarkable life. I am happy to know their final resting place.

Thank you for looking. It is alright that you deleted the request. Another lady put her memorial on findagrave in that cemetery. I have let her know that Agnes is not there. I looked on the CA death index and her death is Adele Gray. It says that she died in San Francisco Co.
I appreciate your help and for the time you spent looking for me.

YOU ARE WELCOME, CAROL! IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY TO BE IN THE CEMETERY. ONE THING I MIGHT MENTION, THOUGH. HER HEADSTONE CLEARLY SAYS "REGLEY", NOT "KEGLEY". I REPORTED THIS TO THE PERSON WHO HAS THE MEMORIAL. I DON'T KNOW IF THE HEADSTONE IS WRONG, OR WHOEVER PUT UP THE MEMORIAL.

I re-submitted the Cunningham marker picture because the FindAGrave request page still showed that the picture was not fulfilled. The request page now is correct.

Thanks for the nice response. Robert's wife Evelyn shares a marker with him. A photo of her marker has been posted at her memorial on Find A Grave.
