RE: Jennie Smith
I am 90 years old and think I will not take it over. My daughter is aware of all this but no time to do any of it now. Just keep it please as you have it done well and thanks.

RE: Jennie Smith
Jennie is my husbands grandmother and we have all the family history on the Russell and Smith families also pictures. My husband belonged to the Mayflower society on this line also and Adkins and Russell are all revolutionary soldiers in the family.

Thank you
Thanks so much for calling my attention to my entry for Bertha Weaver Shawkey, #63830254. She was my husband's aunt. I don't know when I'd have caught the mistake if you'd not posted her obit.

Marian Lindell, Scandia Cemetery
Hi, someone has a photo request for her and I noticed you had a picture on her husband's grave (Fred) and thought maybe you could also post it on hers, at least till someone gets a later one with the complete dates on it. Thanks

RE: The Wright graves
I didn't mean for you to do that. I had planned on deleting mine, but wanted to make sure we had the right cemetery. Thanks. Can transfer them to you if you want.

RE: Adam Wright
OK. I was thinking I could check Hessel Valley. Mine was so long ago, I can't remember. I do know a couple of times I did try more than one cemetery and might have gotten confused. I make sure I separate them better now.

Christian B Rhodes:
Hi Julie,

How wonderful of you to take the time to research the death of my great-uncle, Christian Rhodes, Mem# 127343885. We knew he passed away in Colorado at an early age, but always had many unanswered questions. His mother,Matilda, passed away 5 months later. You filled in many blanks in our research.
I am blessed to be in possesion of the Rhodes family Bible, and it shows Christian's birthdate as 2/21/1858. I wondered if I could ask one more favor of you to add this to his memorial?
My current and future family thanks you so much for your caring and compassion and know that your efforts are appreciated beyond words!

Re: Mrs. Breth-Shilling
Thank you so much for the additional information. I have added it to her memorial on Find A Grave. Her daughter, Adah Breth Lydic, was married to my grandfather's brother.

You were correct about her remarrying after her first husband's death. There is more to her story. I won't elaborate in this public message, but you might look in the Weekly Messenger and The Progress in March-April 1914.

McKelvy & McIntosh families
Here are the memorial numbers for the two families:
McKelvy/--vey (all yours)
91657569, 92010172, 92011852, 92010091, 92010199, 92011567, 92011965,

McIntosh (here yours only)
(not the C.A. Brown, J. Rowan, Howard Seamens entries)
92709434, 91800599, 91800618, 92690590, 92690637, 92011852

I will be happy to take over these memorials, adding what I can. Note that Ann McI. Martin is listed twice, under 92709434 & .

I was aware of the older listing of Cherry Hill burials with names and a little moreinfo. Sugar Grove has an interesting history. Loudy's father is buried in a Pawtucket, RI cemetery, linked by notes by my grandmother on the back of a McKelvy photo-portrait.

Thanks so much, Bob

Your Family Tree
Actually I don't know your family tree except you are descended from Benjamin John Nicholson who died at Andersonville during the Civil War.

I am in the process of compiling my Nicholson family info and would like to add your line to it.
We have to be cousins! I am descended from Benjamin's brother, David, who also fought in the Civil War, but he survived as did several other brothers.

Juanita Busi
I think that the problem is that Mount Tabor (593 burials) and Penn View Mount Tabor (18 burials) are the same cemetery. I assume that "Penn View" was added to the original cemetery name, perhaps when the property was sold or the management changed.
If I delete my memorial for Juanita Busi, then the family links (and several hours of research)will also be deleted.

RE: Giles and Mary Ricker
I noticed that you did and was confused for awhile as she apparently has the same name as her daughter, who I already listed in Hale Cemetery. When I got my mind straightened out, I linked her to her daughter. Found the one son in Ark, waiting for them to be linked. Thanks

James Lawson
Julie, James is my gg grandfather. I created the duplicate memorial because the original creator would not respond to my requests to transfer to me. She is not a direct decendent and I wanted to attach family to him. I also contacted Find A Grave admin but never received a response from them. Thank you for your concern but I am leaving my memorial there so I can manage the family.

PS - I have submitted a SAC to Jonathan Hart asking that he connect their son, Marshall, who, contrary to what her obit says, predeceased her.

RE: Sarah Canfield obit
You are welcome.

I thought her husband was connected to someone in my tree, but once I found his and Sarah's date of marriage, I determined that he is not the right person. Thank you for adding these memorials which led me in the right direction, or at least away from the wrong one. :)

RE: William Daugherty
William Daugherty and he died 19 Sept 1864 at Winchester Virginia and he also had a brother named John Daugherty that died 8 July 1864 in a hospital in Staunton, Va. I wondered where they were buried. I have the records that they died but have no idea where they were buried.

RE: William Daugherty
Actually I should have done a little more research before I contacted you. It also shows a lady by the last name of Daugherty with about the same dates which I assume is his wife. I am looking for someone who died in the Civil War. I know where he died but not where he is buried. Sorry but if you could help on that I would appreciate it. Jean

RE: Mary Hosmer
I'm not sure, so one of them is just a marker. I guess that's better than no marker. The records don't state when the marker was purchased. I linked my page to yours so someone could check them both if interested.
