"Edits" tab on home page
HI - I'm doing a quick survey of about 400 people on my friends list just to see how many are aware of the new "Edits" tab on their home page. If you could just shoot me back a brief response, either way that would be great. Thanks.

RE: PIKE PHOTOS
Angela, It was really sweet to offer to clean the Pike headstones. I greatly appreciate it. Not many people would to do that for someone, but since we haven't been there before we'ld like to come anyway this summer to do it. I'll send you a message then and maybe we can get together for coffee or picnic at the cemetery :} Thanks again for offering though.

PIKE PHOTOS
GREAT pictures Angela. I love that you took them to show the other stones & road & put in the captions. I like to do the same. It makes sense to know, in case something happens to the stone. Also like to see if the stones need a little cleaning and looks like my husband and I need to plan a trip to do just that. Looks like it's on a bit of a hill? Are the graves close to front entrance? I've never been to it. Thank you so very much!! You're hired :-}

RE: Pike family photo request
I agree 2 weeks isn't enough time, especially if someone plans to do several photos on a day trip or go to multiple cemeteries on a weekend, which is what my husband and I do. Whenever I do photo requests, I always call the cemetery ahead of time to make sure the person is indeed there, so I don't send someone out on a wild goose chase. I also get the plot numbers, that way all the person has to do is have it marked on map at the office. Some offices say to call ahead and they can go out and mark the graves with a flag to make it easier, which is nice of them to do. I always try to make it as easy as possible on whoever is taking the picture, so I hope you won't have too much trouble in locating it. I know some cemeteries are more equipped to help than others. It's ironic I just received an email this AM regarding an someone who has photos of my Pike family. Sure appreciate your time and efforts. Let me know how it goes. Sheila

Sheila
Pike family photo request
Hi Angela,

I just noticed that a claimed photo request automatically expires in 14 days after it has been claimed or so it say on my photo request list. Just wondering if you were aware of that, because I wasn't until now. Someone who was new to Find A Grave saw my request and emailed me today to ask if I wanted them to do it, but I said no, it had already been claimed. If you think you may no longer be able to, let me know and I will get back to her. Thanks.

Mary A. Howard Flood Gravestone Photo
Thank you so much for adding such a good photo to her web page.

The US Daughters of 1812 of Washington State have been researching, compiling and documenting the 1812 Veterans buried in the state. This also includes all the widows, daughters and granddaughters.

Your photo addition proves that Mary Howard Flood was buried in the Medical Lake Cemetery because there was a question if she (and her family) really was!

Again, thanks -

JAKE
