RE: Oston Peter Irvine
Hi Beth,
You're most welcome. I added 4 photos to Oston & Mary's memorials and I also added photos for the rest of the family.
Sincerely, Ron Kinney

Gladys St. Clair Reynolds
Thanks for checking with the cemetery office. Her parents are at Perdee and maybe that is where Gladys is interred. Her DC says Blue Springs but this may not mean the BS Cemetery? Her husband lived until 1981 and since Gladys died in 1917 he won't be of any help in finding her. Oh well, as we have to do so often we'll just "keep looking." Thanks again for your efforts.

Judy, thanks for the message abt this memorial. I finally got the burial straightened out. Have no idea where I got the info that told me he was buried at this cem. Found him on "Veterans Gravesites" and it had the cem nam. I got it all changed, so wanted to thank you.

Wyatt Photo
Thanks so much for the great photo of Thomas Wyatt's Doublestone. I did not expect to receive it so quickly.

I would like to use the photo on my private tree, giving you full credit of course, if that is permissible.

Again, Thanks for all you do for Find A Grave and your fellow genealogy hunters.

Best,
Judy Diaz

Sorry about the photo of Arthur's headstone. It was carved by removing the background, but not very deeply. I was unsuccessful in getting enough contrast to make his name (on top) stand out, so I concentrated on the front.

RE: Feister, Tidd graves in Pleasant Valley
Hi Beth

A memorial can be created by one person-me, then a family member discovers it-you. On each memorial, in the top right corner diagonally below the name, are 2 tabs; Share and Edit. Click on Edit, then choose 'Suggest a correction or provide additional information'. Write a note saying you would like the owner to transfer the memorial to you. Some owners will expect you to state your relationship to the person (I don't, I'll give them to any family who asks). Some people can be nasty if you don't say 'please' and 'thank you'; some will accuse you of being rude even if you do say thanks (it's happened to me). I've had people who used neither please or thank you, but I didn't feel the need to send them a nasty note.
After you do your part, I'll get an email alerting me to your request that will contain a link to the memorial and your member number. I'll use your number to make the transfer to you; from that point on, you will have control of the memorial and can make any changes you desire. All we ask is that you don't delete the original memorial and start another of your own. Another tip: before you create a new memorial, search the cemetery on Find A Grave to be sure the person doesn't already have one.

Welcome to Find A Grave! We're mighty glad to have you.
