I see you created a memorial page for Lela, including photo. Thank you. Are you a relative of Lela's? If not, would you be willing to transfer management to me? She is in my family tree.

The photos that you took of William Daniel & Frank Allen's tombstones represent your usual first rate job. The 3 are Danna's memorials, not mine. However, they are my collateral lines, so I thought it would be nice to have marker photos on their memorials. I really appreciate your doing this for me.
Keep up your good works.

Thanks for trying to find the Thompson grave at Oakwood. I made a note it was not marked. Thanks for trying!

Thanks Lynne. Not sure what happened. The court records indicate they were moved with the others and the cemetery shows 2 unknown Fraziers in the same plot. Guess they did not have headstone or at least one with name on it.
You were very kind to go back and I do appreciate your efforts. Keep up the good work.

Frazier Family - Ben & Rufus
Since I requested these photos some time ago, I rechecked the records. I think Ben & Rufus are probably the two "unknown Frazier" in Section A, Plot 4, 11, 12. I assume there was a marker placed there for each of them but maybe not. Oakwood does list two "unknown Frazier" burials in the same section and plot as the others.
The authorization for disinterment and reinterment lists 12 people - all are accounted for except for Ben & Rufus. All of this matches the drawing of the original cemetery filed of record.
Sorry for rambling on - just trying to clarify. Don't make a special trip but if you are out there I would be grateful if you would look.
Thanks again. Alma S

No worries. According to Oakwood, Ben and Rufus Frazier are in the same area - Section A, Plot 4, 11, 12.
They were all moved from Trawick Road at the same time according to public records.
Thanks. Alma S

Thank you so much for adding photos to the above family members. They were a part of my Mom's family and I visited them as a child - fond memories.
Are you by chance adding Ben and Rufus in the same section. They are all related.
Again, thanks so much for the photos and for your continued contributions to Find A Grave.

|AuntySocial||Lillie M Wood Crawford|
Please remove the name "Wood" from Mrs. Crawford. She was Julia C. Wood's mother. Julia was married to Urie Wood.
Lillie's husband was Willie C. Crawford # 20897028. She is also listed as # 20897012, although she is just named on the tombstone. She is interred at Oakwood. I believe it is because she did not want to be buried in the ground, not because she did not want to be buried next to her husband. I think that is what my grandmother, Julia told me.
Lillie's parents are # 8514900 William Martin, and # 8514907 Jutsey Rhodes Martin.
