May I have your permission to download the photo of the gravestone of Capt. Silas Burbank (Memorial# 92528361)?
I would like to upload it into my Ancestry family tree.
Thank you for your consideration.

We appreciate all the research you've done to honor and remember Maine women. Here's a site for a woman who aided community veterans and may have volunteered in Washington when aiding a relative: Mary Fairfield Darling

This is a famous listing and no longer belongs to me. Unfortunately being that it is famous it cannot be transferred.

|AuntieJ||Kenison/Nason Family in Brownfield|
Thanks so much for going over to the cemetery in Brownfield for the pictures from the back of the Kenison monument. The information on the photos filled in a few blanks!
And, as is the way of genealogy, left me with a few more questions. A good project for the coming winter!
I just wish those stones could talk. :-)

So it's actually two cemeteries. Interesting... When the weather gets cooler, I'm planning to photograph all the stones, so I'll make a note of which cemetery each stone belongs in, and see what I can do to get the two cemeteries better documented on find a grave.
Thanks for the info,

Thanks for the info. I will visit the Limerick library this weekend to see what the book says about the cemetery. I'm happy to hear there is a book documenting the Limerick cemeteries :) The historical society should be open, too, so hopefully I can figure it out.

Thanks very much for letting me know about Annie's career. I've added a biographical sketch based on her entry in American National Biography, which I think gives a good case for giving her "famous" status!
