RE: Photo for William Bateman
So does your father trace his family back to the Bateman line?

It is possible that the photo is of his cousin William Lehi Bateman(1844-1916). His father was Thomas Bateman, Jr and his mother was Mary Street. It does not look like the photos that I have seen but the ones that I have seen could be from when he was a younger man.

Photo for William Bateman
I was wondering where you found the photo for William Bateman (1824-1869). He died at about 45 years old but the photo seems to be of a man that is older than that.

Photo usage?
I was having trouble linking my family line to William George Palmer and his wife Mary Ellen Perdun (which wasn't listed in William George Palmer information). I then saw the two photos you have on Emma Bateman Llewelyn Memorial which gave the information to tie them together. I posted the photos in Mary Ellen Perdun memorial with links back to you. I hope that is OK if not let me know and I will remove them. Thanks Your information was a lifesaver....Mike

RE: thank you!
You are welcome! My sister actually helped me so much. I was not feeling well and wanted to get it posted as soon as possible. She drove me over and together we found the grave and she took the photo.

photo Robert Merrick
I posted a photo for R.T. Merrick in Liberty Cemetery, Caruth, MO. I only found 3 Merricks in the cemetery. This headstone matches the dates on the memorial and the photo request. I noticed the headstone reads R.T. (Rod). I hope this is the correct person, email if any questions Scott

I put a caption on the picture for Infant Molcany. Basically, there are no civilian markers in the Veteran's Section. The infant was buried on top of Rudolph and has no marker.

June Horan
Thank you for your interest in June Horan. I have linked her to her parents as you suggested. However, I very seldom add obits as some of the people listed in them may still be living and I believe in the right to privacy. There is too much identity theft out there and I don't want to add to it.

Thanks for the compliment, it means alot. I admire you for working at FamilySearch and I really appreciate the work behind the scenes to produce the information it supplies freely to folks. Without their work genealogy would be set back 50 years I bet and everyone would be paying out the nose for money grubbing pay sites which I don't agree with as it seems very greedy, and to withold info that is public domain is wrong and should be illegal. Is that job in Utah? For as much as I use the site I wish I got paid for it. I have contributed a little to it which is cool that they let folks do that. Anyway I made memorials for her daughter Katherine and 1st husband and transfered to you with Viola, (I like that name). I was surprised George didn't have one yet. Terrible, him being murdered with his father and all, very depressing. I put him in his fathers cemetery where he must be I should think. The daughter Katherine in Riverside, (not sure about her location). Most of the children buried there seem to not have markers anymore or they are too hard to read because of the soft stone used. I added some more to Viola's bio from you interesting bio that you included. Perhaps you will add more interesting things to it. Let me know as they seem to have a very interesting past. I try to picture how life was for many of these buried folks as life was quite differnt for them from what it is now. It must of been very hard and almost imposible at times for them and yet they manage somehow after all the heartache.

Mr. Shirl Ferre
Tom Llenelyn & Emma Bateman
Your Memorial #91374766 Thomas Llenelyn and his wife 98337911 Emma Bateman Llenelyn begs a question. See Memorial #98701544 & 150189 for Thomas Llewelyn & Emma Bateman Llewelyn. Are they the same person's? Do you know of any other documentation to show the spelling? Is your spelling in error? Please see the Utah death certificates. Does Emma Rosella Olsen memorial #17179232 show her parents & the spelling of their surname? There is a headstone at Scofield Cemetery for Emma Llewelyn, but others have tried to find the Llenelyn's in Scofield cemetery records (and headstones) but come up short. Please help me with this investigation to find the answer. New Family Search program also shows both surnames but indicate they are the same person's. Which one is right? Please respond, Shirl

Mr. & Mrs. James Knowles
I am sorry, but there are no Headstones for Mr. & Mrs. Knowles. The are buried in Section 12, Lot 49. The Cima Family Plot is Lot 50, so I included their Headstones to show I was in the right place.

I found Mr. James Knowles in the 1900 Census, so included the information I found there on his Memorial.

Would you like me to transfer the Knowles' Memorials to you?

RE: Transfers
Oh yes...I have too. Lin Quigley is one you'll want to avoid with transfer requests outside the guidelines. She's done a lot of them for TN as well and will bite your head off if you ask. It's just infuriating because the people being requested aren't her family. They're yours. I think the guidelines should be eased up a bit myself.

If you've got deep roots in Benton, we are probably cousins to some degree. I've had family there since 1800.

If there's anything else I can do to help you, please let me know.

Hi guys,

It's not that at all that I mind updating the memorials but thought you'd like to have the memorials transferred. I know it makes you feel good to keep all of your "chicks" close on here. Enjoy and I'm sure you'll take good care of them.

Green Hatley Cemetery-Tippit
The lisitng I posted for this cemetery was taken form an index that I obtained from the Library in Camden, TN. I will transfer them to you and you can sort them out. You gave me the number for you Grandfather and Grandmother but not your uncle. Is it safe to assume he is also a Tippit?

RE: Thank you!
You're welcome. I got the whole family, if you notice. It is a very gloomy day here; no contrast. I used water on two of the markers to bring out the lettering. Best - - cb

I am not related, but am more than happy to transfer the management of this memorial to you.
