Thanks for the heads up. I just found the other picture and the reflection does look like it may be a challenge.
It may be next week before I get to the Columbarium but should have something for you by next Wednessday

|widow||Hello again - re: Sirmans 'decline'|
I don't enter birth/death locations in the date fields, but put them in the bio section instead...I just prefer to see the dates uncluttered with all that extra info.

I transferred Edna Riggs' memorial to you as requested. I have fond memories of Edna. She was a terrific person.

For the additional info on "Sirmans" - I'm shocked to read this input ... 'grandaddy' seemed to be such an incorruptible, responsible man! when I knew him in my childhood ... he's probably turning over in his grave, just now . . . LOL . . . with this expose from his life choices... by the way, the photo was entered by another volunteer, who connected with me on Ancestry, when I had a paid membership fee.
Thanx again for sending this.

You are welcome for the transfer. I'm happy to do so.
Thank you for being a kind, please and thank you graver. It makes up for the other kinds.
You mentioned a connection via "Roe"
Maybe... that name belongs to my husbands side of the family, and I know very little, albeit what is posted here.
Have a nice day.

I deleted the note. I have been mapping out the cemetery. (a lifetime job I think). I have to go out & retake every photo exactly in order. Anyway, those notes were added at the time I took the photos & are WAY more accurate than the cemetery records (which were done years ago but were not put on line until a month or 2 ago.) I have been putting together a list of corrections for the cemetery records but it's going to take forever. I've been working on a tiny portion of Block 1 for a week & have found at least a dozen records with incorrect locations. Dozens more have incorrect name, spelling, dates, etc. So it may not be a good idea to compare all the notes with the cemetery records, 'cos you'll end up with some incorrect info. ALSO, you can't believe how stupidly they numbered the graves. All around every block are swaths of graves running up & down & all around & they're designated with letters & numbers. You can tell they added blocks willy nilly, little bits at a time. And made plenty of mistakes recording it.

Each County in NC had a group listing all the cemeteries in their own county. You know how that work out ,,,, LOL they rename most cemetery with the oldest head stone. I have took too long of a break from Find a Grave. Most of the time if i found out in my research the real name of a cemetery i would have Find a Grave Change it or have the two names together. I have not did the research on this cemetery yet. In my research I put all the children to their parents and add information to the page. :-) I am so far behind now ... yep yep

I've posted the photo on your Rockafield memorial. Do you know for sure that Eugene's ashes are in Cavalry? I am meeting with Rodney J. Guthrie the Director of the Anatomical Gift Program at Wright State after September 22nd and I will know then the exact details of all donor remains. Eugene is probably not at Rackafield but if he is I will contact you to shuffle things around. All of my photos are public domain and I have that noted on my bio. Use anything that you find.

Link to your Edward S. seems to have been added awhile ago. As such was lost on my old computer as to who requested it. If I can find the backup of the emails of F.A.G. requests I will let you know who requested it.
I have restored the bio death date to 27 November 1907 as originally stated by Annie Gegan. Annie is related to George I am not sure how. a link can be found on George's Memorial to Annie's Find A Grave Contributor number as providing the bio.
Added a note on George's memorial as not to link to your Edward.
I am sorry I thought that I had researched this better before adding the requested link. I never except a blind request for links unless I know who it came from.
I hope this fixes this problem this Find A Grave can be hard to keep accurate but it can be easily infected with errors. I generally look for at least two other sources like Ancestry census or militarily data. On a quick check I see no Ancestry.com trees with this same error.
