Thank you for all your hard work on

Karen, thank you for considering my request to transfer Maria's memorial to me. It is good to know that a family member is taking care of her memorial now.

Best regards. . .

You have added a lot of information about my family and I was wondering if you have found anything about George Washington Judy Sr.'s parents?

Hi Karen
Hey - I feel your pain on people calling you Judy!! :-) I am curious - how are you related to David Judy? I am married to one of his great-grandsons with the last name Judy and live only a mile or so from Wallace Chapel where he is buried. I very much appreciate your input here! Thanks!

RE; Wilber Judy
I had to change Wilber Judy from Riverside Cemetery. I checked his death certificate. He was cremated, so I can't say with certainty where his remains are. I will remove your photo request.

My apologies. I obviously picked up the wrong photo on this memorial. Unfortunately, I did not retain my photos from this cemetery so cannot provide the correct one. I have also corrected the dates per your info.

There is only one Highland Union Cemetery in Gosper County.

Mary is there or I would not have entered a memorial for her.

Hi Karen,

You are very welcome and I am glad I could help! I am going to keep this story in my heart as a great reminder that what FG does is about connection and restoration. Even those of our loved ones on the other side are helping. I don't think for a minute that taking photos of the Judy's memorials was accidental.

BTW, who was Olga Mueller, who is interred in the crypt with them?

Hi Karen,

I made some additions from yours to mine and now mine are yours as I have just transferred them to your care!

I have never had this happen before, where I was creating a memorial for a person at the same time as someone else! As rare as lightning striking, I think. It's a good chuckle.

I have been sitting on these photos for about a month and am just getting to upload them today. i wander through such large cemeteries and photograph at random. Your relatives must have been looking over my shoulder and prompted me to photograph their memorials, knowing you'd be wanting them.

Keep up the good work!

Re: relatives in Highland Ceme
I will be glad to add extra information & make family links on anyone. Just use the "Edit" button on the memorial page for each one. I don't make "mass" transfers of family. I will transfer any that are immediate family members (follow Find A Grave guidelines). You can always add photos yourself to any memorial whether you manage them or not.

Thomas Hosick and Emma Suhr
Hi Karen, I am a distant relative of Thomas Hosick and was wondering if you know who is who in the picture posted on his Findagrave site? I am a descendent of Michael Hosack through his son Michael Hosack and I believe Thomas was descended from Michael Hosack through his son George back in Washington County, Pennsylvania. George moved to Allegheny County and raised his family there but died in Washington County in 1850 according to rumors, though I believe he died in Allegheny County and it was John son of Michael Hosack who died in Washington County in 1850. George's family changed the name to Hosick.

Re: reply
Karen...yes, Viola and Lomax Cemeteries are the same. I had originally signed up as a volunteer for this cemetery and Park Valley, Greenwood, etc. But someone else suddenly started posting and adding pictures ... even duplicates pictures of ones I had already posted. So after a brief visit to the Lomax/Viola cemetery I decided to post under the Lomax Cemetery name....if you prefer you might contact the other party and they can add pictures under the Viola Cem for you or if you wish I can download the pictures to the Viola Cemetery as well if that would be helpful for you or more preferable. If I can be of any other assistance, just let me know.

John and Maria Hosick
I added a memorial for Maria at Wesley Chapel, as she is listed as being buried there. The headstone with John's name appears to be that of his wife. It has been broken and repaired, with her name missing. Could this be Maria?
I hope that this helps, and I would certainly transfer her memorial to you, or delete the photo's of the stones if they are someone else!!
I don't like to speculate, so want to be sure that that is her headstone. I will go to the library to see if there is more info. on Maria and John, when I can. That might clear up discrepencies, also.

I also go back into these lines. Wendell and Elizabeth Poore/Poor are my 4th great grandparents. I would love to share info. I will upload any info you would like me to also.

Hosick family
Karen, I transferred the Hosick family to you. I don't have a picture for Mariah, wish I did. I am in touch with a couple of other researchers on this line. My data base is up on Rootsweb, World Connect, data base Tyrilla. What I have is up there but it needs updated, hoping to get to that very soon. I moved awhile ago and it is taking me some time to get back to family history.

Thomas and Emma Hosick
Thomas is my first cousin, 3 times removed. I am related to the Axtell family. My dad grew up close to Bertrand and I get back there every few years. If you would like me to transfer John and Emma, I would happily do that, nice picture too.
As long as I was on the page, I put up obits for John and Emma and linked them.
