Thank you for uploading the photograph of Edward O'Donnell's gravestone.

|morcorp||John Ryan > Katie Ryan|
Thank you so much. I found the 1880 census as well, so it is nice to have the confirmation of the family.
If you are on ancestry.com, I have a public tree in which you can see some of the other records for John...mainly directory records from 1880 to 1886.
The challenge is there are so many John Ryans, I look to other family members in the same household. It is sending me in circles.
Do you happen to know of John Ryan's date of death? I have dates from 1883 to 1889. ??
My 2g grandmother was Katie Ryan married to Danial Patrick Fogarty. She is the daughter of John Ryan and Kate Callahan.
I have since found the records for William F Ryan who I believe is of the same family.
Would love to here what you come up with. Thanks so much for taking an interest.

Hi Nolagirl. Thank you for photographing Bella Ryan grave site. (Find A Grave Memorial# 132428577)
I've been searching for more connections to this family as John Ryan and Kate Callahan are my 3g grandparents.
If you are related or have more information about them I would quite enjoy touching base with you.

Thanks ever so much for all of your help. I have been adding info & doing links for my Great-Uncle Henry Bergeron & his wife, Leoda. I noticed that Great Aunt Leoda had lots of family links so anxious to check this family genealogy.

Hi, Just a heads up. The photo of the headstone actually reads Mrs. George Muller who was born Antoinette Louise Ouborine and went by Louise/Louisa. Her death listing can be found in the Times Picayune dated 28 Jan 1921 on Page 12 listed under Records of the Day/Deaths as Louise A. Miller, age 62 at her residence at 2456 Royal.

Hi Nola Girl,
I've just created a memorial for Audrey Genevieve Nick (memorial # 163612700). Please add your photo to her memorial ... see your memorial # 136462698 for your photo; she's the last name on that headstone, partially blocked by the vase and flowers.

Thanks NolaGirl for your help. I guess the only other possibility is to ask the offices of Greenwood Cemetery and Metairie Cemetery if they are buried there. But only when you have the time.

Someone doing research for me in NO said that in the interment book for Saint Patrick's Cemetery #1 she was interred on 2 Feb 1899, no further information was recorded. We think she didn't have family at the time but her body was listed as "claimed" from Charity Hospital not being buried in the hospital cemetery. Her husband had disappeared several years earlier along with one son. The other son had moved to north Louisiana. You can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org if that is easier. Thanks for your help. Jo

Hi and thanks again. I did get a message to Kay so now she's looking for other parents for Jimmie Reeves. You helped a lot. I think I'm learning .

I see that you have taken many photos of grave sites in New Orleans. I'm looking for a photo of the grave site for Ellen Ludlum known to be in St. Patrick's #1 Cemetery. Her burial date is 2 Feb 1899. That's all I know. Thank you for your time and trouble. Jo

|Tricia Reeves||RE: The Reeves Family memorials|
Thanks very much. I just learned about Find A Grave from my cousin who was visiting and I only joined tonight, so I don't know how to go about correcting the person who assigned the wrong parents to Jimmie Reeves. She couldn't have been close kin to Hal,though. He was an only child, his father had only one sister, who never married, and I don't know of any brothers of Hal's grandfather, John Brinson Reeves. How do I contact the lady who guessed wrong ?

|Kirk Haggerty||N.O. Cemetery Search|
My g-g-grandfather was John Jerome Haggerty.
b. May 24, 1862
d. Jan. 27, 1937
My g-g-grandmother was Delia Conroy Haggerty
b. Nov. 20, 1863
d. Jan. 21, 1938
But I am still not sure which cemetery he and his wife Delia were buried.
John's father, (Dennis Haggerty 1824-1890) was buried at St. Patrick's cemetery #2, Plot: Sec. 31, Lot 16.
I hope this helps.

|Kirk Haggerty||Help in finding a N.O. grave|
Thanks for being a contributor for FindAGrave.
I noticed you have taken grave photos in the New Orleans area, so I assume you live there.
I live in Munich, Germany so it's not possible for me to do grave hunting (or sightseeing) in N.O. at this time.
I have a memorial for my g-g-grandfather but I can't find exactly where he was buried. His father was buried at St. Patrick's Cemetery #2 so I assume it is there as well. The cemetery is big, old and has lost info and had sustained damage from Hurricane Katrina over 10 years ago. If you are able to help in any way locating the grave, I would greatly appreciate it. Please let me know.
The memorial is John Jerome Haggerty (1862-1937)
Memorial # 153135822
Thanks again and have a great day.

I am very interested in finding out about my Osborne family in Oughterard and Clifden, Galway. I see you have posted a photo for Thomas Osborne. However, I cannot read what the headstone says. Can you help? My family was Bernard Osborne, who married Anne Maher. They came to the U.S. with their children around 1856.
I hope you can help!

I'm confused if an Obituary is listed any where on line. I must get permission or name the source for example The Advocate or from the funeral home. Is this the rules of the Find a Grave website about obituaries. Also even though the obituary is posted on line anywhere anyone can copy it because its the public now. Please let me know I do not want to do anything wrong. This is new to me. Thanks for All your help

Thanks again for the photo of their grave posted online,

|from504to281||Edit Requested -|
Hi NolaGirl. Thank you for taking the photo of my parent's gravesite in New Orleans. I input a correction into the edit system for my Mother's information. Irene M Gaillard passed away in 1985. The photo and carving on granite is difficult to see - but if you look hard, the year of her passing was actually 1985, not 1983.

I am researching the Patrick and Ellen (Heskin) Monaghan family. I located them in A co Galway cemetery but was wondering if there were a later listing for two more sons and a daughter. Namely James and John and Mary Monaghan. I am in the USA and do most Ireland research via the Internet. Hoping you may be of assistance. Thank you.
