RE: Lydia Causey
The Causey's are mine. I have researched them over 36 years now. My Father was the Grandchild of one.
I have his name as Charles Joseph "Joe" Amos- child of Elijah Moore Amos Jr Minister-and Linda Ashley. Grandchild of Elijah Amos Sr & Adeline Lockhart.
I have notes on Elijah Amos Sr and census records on Jr.
The 1850 Census of his Father, gives him as Charles 7 years old.

I will be glad to share the balance of this to an e-mail address.

2nd message. Just saw some of your other memorials for Amos family- did William C. Amos and Lillian Elizabeth have different parents thatn Thomas B. Amos? I know that Thomas Brentley Amos was the son of George Thomas Amos and his first wife. I am just trying to figure this all out for my friend :)

Amos family
Hello- I am trying to locate the birth family of an elderly friend of mine. Are you related to Tecumseh Amos whose memorial you created? His son George Thomas Amos and his wife Mamie Bethel Hargrove Amos (from Alabama) had several children. I believe they sent 3 children to live with Tecumseh and his daughter Mary (see 1940 census) and they left a six week old son (my friend) at an orphanage. He is an elderly gentleman now and hoping to find some siblings or nieces/nephews still living. His names Bob or that is what he goes by. Real name may be Robert. He has changed his last name. If you or your spouse are related please let me know. He has met I think one of many siblings and I think it might have been just by phone- Willie Mae and she has since passed. My email is Julie_oliver7@aol.com.

Roy S. Daniel Pleasant Grove, LCT
Hi, found info thru Ancestry.com re Daniel. Death certificate can be opened and indicates he lived in Waynesboro, TN and was a farmer. He died in Vanderbilt Hosp. of liver cancer and burial info you have is correct. Roy was a 2nd Lt, US Army in WWI. Date of birth is 9/1/1892 with death on 10/26/1951. Don't usually go to that side of county, but, if no one picks this request up, will try to get there weather permitting.
