|Ricky D.||RE: 29593107|
Thank you for the note. I found my photo from 6 1/2 - 7 years ago, and it is indeed an "I" not a "T". (It's not a very good photo or I'd post it. I can e-mail it to you if you'd like.)
I feel certain that's your friend. It'll be next week sometime before I can get up to the library to look him up, but I went ahead and updated the name. (I may try to swing by the cemetery next week, too. If so, I'll try to get a better photo.)
Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Yes Linda there are, but the other one says he is interred in the cemetery below. That is contrary to what his obituary says. I have asked Donna to move him and let me know so that I can then delete mine.

Note the [sic] in the announcement. That indicates an error. It was printed in the paper that way.

|agagee||Rosey Margaret McClintock|
37519375 Rosey M McClintock was probably buried in Fisging Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery in 1799 after she died while waiting to go west with Rev John Simpson and a group of presbyterian families who went to Robert Presbyterian Church Anderson County and Ora ARP Church in Laurens County S.C.. There were numerous "Migrations" from the uptate to the new lands west of Broad River. and later to Ga., Al., Miss., Ark., and Texas.

Old Purity is a very old church in Chester County, S.C. It is not a slave cemetery but a Cemetery for Purity Church. The first Purity Church was burned and a new Purity Church was built on Wylie St in Chester, S.C. They still maintain the cemetery. The McClintocks came to South Carolina with Rev William Martin a Covenetor Preacher from Ireland. The 473 families who came were spread all over South Carolina so they would not be a strong unified group. The McClintocks at Ora ARP church came from Chester County either from Purity Presbyterian or Old Hopewell ARP.

How are you related to McClintocks at Purity Cemetery in Chester S.C.? Do you know how they are related to John McClintock in Ora ARP Church Cemetery in Laurens County S.C.? I am descended from James McClintock and Elizabeth Kennedy McClintock through their son Robert at Hopewell ARP Church Cemetery.

|Rich Dohm||McClintock's ~ Hollywood Cemetery|
Hello Linda. I'm the person who claimed these McClintock photo requests. I'm sorry to report, there is NO marker in this lot that attests to THIS McClintock who died in 1893, although cemetery records DO show a burial on 7/7/1893. (But the others are found.) You remarked "ask the church if they know this person's full name or family connection." As to the family, it's McClintock, but there is no church to ask, as this is a private cemetery... if you need to ask them about any burials, you can call the records office weekdays at 804-648-8501.

|CJ||Mary Ann Dawkins Lyles|
I sent a request to the person who maintains the memorial for Mary Ann Lyles to include her first, middle, and maiden names. I also asked that her memorial be linked to her parents, John and Martha Dawkins, and her husband, John Rogers Lyles.

|CJ||Mary Ann Dawkins Lyles|
I got your message about Mary Ann Dawkins Lyles being the daughter of John Dawkins and the wife of John Rogers Lyles. I already had a record of that information, but I don't maintain the memorials for Mary Ann (72430659) or John Rogers Lyles (9775967) so I can't create the links you're requesting. Their memorials are actually maintained by two different people.
