Jack Porter Lee Sullivan
Hello Devin,
I saw your message to Rozan (House) Collier regarding Jack Porter Lee Sullivan. Jack Porter Lee Sullivan is my husband's grandfather. I know you believe that Jack is married to your family member, Dorothy, which is why she is listed as his wife, but she isn't the right Dorothy. Jack has had three wives. His first was Opal Dorothy Brown, they were married in Tennessee and I have a copy of their marriage license. He was then married to Dorothy Rita Mulvane and I have their newspaper announcement of their marriage. I believe this is the Dorothy that is listed with Jack in the 1940's census. In the newspaper announcement, It states that although they were married in Yuma, AZ, that Jack's home was located in Pasadena, CA (where the 1940 census was taken). I think you may have the wrong Jack Porter Lee Sullivan married to your Dorothy. Jack's third wife, is my husband's grandmother, Evelyn.

Please, if you have your Dorothy connected to my Jack Porter Lee Sullivan, please disconnect them. I will be asking Rozan to transfer Jack along with his parents, Lubie and Belle Sullivan to me. If you have any questions, please contact me at tricia520ATgmail.com.

Thank you.

Adam Ross
RE: William Blakely and the Railcar
Hello Devin,
My name is Adam Blakely Ross. William was my grandfather and since he was of interest to you for his contribution to the railcar, I was hoping that you could give me some information about him, aside from his being an attorney for the Glendale and Montrose Railway.

The family ancestry doesn't show much about William's life after his wife died, but it is my understanding that it was then that he met my grandmother Margaret and then had my father Ronald Wm. Blakely. When Blakely died, my grandmother met Rocco Ross whose name my father took before joining the Navy to honor is stepfather. In an effort to keep the Blakely name in the family, my father made it my middle name, but never gave me any history on his childhood or on my grandfather.

I would appreciate any information you can give.
Thank you and best regards,
Adam Blakely Ross

Thanks for straightening me out on the children. I thought "how tragic that they lost those children in infancy" but I was assuming too much.
Joseph is not my direct line so I have transferred then to you. I'm related to most of the Griffiths in Jenner cemetery. Nancy.
