Appreciate the family link correction request on Roena Hodge, as she obviously could not have been the mother of Rev. Bachman Hodge (1893-1961). Since only the contributor who created a memorial can make parental links to it, I've sent an edit request to him to maternally link Bachman Hodge's memorial to that of A. Louise Cates Hodge (1861-1942) as you suggested- the second wife.
On another note, the New Lebanon Presbyterian Church and Silver Run Cemeteries have now been merged. There are indeed several duplicate memorials, but I'm only working on getting duplicate cemeteries in the county-several- merged now.

You're welcome, I had not been to that cemetery before and it was beneficial for me as well.

I added Alfred Louise as a spouse of Edmond and mother of the oldest child. I don't maintain the memorial for the youngest child so I can't correct this.

I went out there today and the death date wasn't on there. Remind me in about three months and I'll go again.

|Howard A Sutherland||RE: Addison Wear Armstrong husband of Nancy McMillan Armstrong|
Based on the information you provided I have created a memorial for Addison Wear Armstrong and linked him to his wife Nancy. At the time I photographed Spring Place Cemetery I did not locate a headstone for Addison Armstrong. Thanks for your contribution.

Thanks for the message. I am not related to the McMillan family. While researching the Pelhams of Jacksonville, AL, I came across a photo of James McMillan, as his family was a neighbor of theirs. He posed in a photo with the younger
Pelham boys. Then I found him on here and decided to add thr photo.

Appreciated your sharing family history and childhood memories of Talladega, the art deco Ritz Theater is now a nonprofit regional performing arts center which hosts several shows each season. Their website is www.ritztalladega.com, which has links to other area civic groups/events such as "April in Talladega" and the Talladega Mardi Gras.
I came here a little over 25 years ago for civil service employment, raised two children here and then decided to remain after retirement.

|mike reeves||Hendrick-McMillan Family Plot|
Added a photo of the Hendrick-McMillan Family Plot at Oak Hill Cemetery to fulfil the headstone photo request for Mary Hendrick (1851-1933). "Wrongway Dave" had already posted a gravestone photo to her memorial in 2013. The two patriarch graves in the plot are James W. McMillan (1833-1896) & William Y. Hendrick (1819-1873).

You're welcome; the genealogy quest led me to this website, too.

Frances, I don't know how old your request is, but Alexander McMillan born 1749 is not buried in this McMillan Cemetery. These are all family, but he is buried in the Old Caledonia Presbyterian Church Cemetery which is now called McMillan/Sherrod Cemetery. It is located near the intersection of Ruggles Ferry Pike and Graves Road, on the top of a hill and cattle pasture on the farm of Jeff Hill. The cemetery is fenced in. That was in 2001. I have been there and have pictures of his and Margaret's graves if you would like to see them. Please e-mail me at email@example.com Put his name in the subject line.

Quite alright. I was looking for my Great Great Aunt's resting place so I drove the 80 miles to look for her too. Her grave is marked with a plain stone. About 40% there are.
