RE: Roy Johnson
I have found that Robert/Bob run rampant through the Hughes family. My father and great grand father were also Roberts/Bobs. My great grand father was supposedly born 1834 in Nova Scotia, but haven't had the time to check.

You are so welcome! This was such a wonderful find for me! The cemetery is partially taken care of. I took photos of all the tombstones I could read so I don't think I will be able to photo the rest but I will check the next time I am there. Sadly I do not live nearby. I live in MO and this was a special treat for me. I am hoping to get back here next year.

You're very welcome. It was really odd because I fulfilled the request back in February and it showed up this morning as a new request but dated February. So I deleted the photo and added it again. Hopefully this time the request stays fulfilled. =]

Coy Relihan Photo Request
Hi Suzanne,

While I did photograph the front of the marker, I forgot to look on the back! There might be more information there. I will try to check it out again soon.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Susan Hughes/Old Eau Clair Cemetery
I am currently trying to photograph the Old Eau Clair Cemetery also known as Farmington Cemetery. I came across the stone for Susan Hughes which you requested. She is located beside Elisabeth Hughes, wife of Hubert. The stone for Susan is very difficult to read but you can make out her name as well as her death date. Susan Page

I didn't see Mildred's stone when we were there. But it was starting to rain and they had just mowed. It was a mess - It could have been there and it was just covered up by the grass clippings. We had to clean off George and Esther's to see them. Next time I go I will look for her again.

RE: Rose Gorder
Your welcome. I found like 4 others in that area. 2 of them were in the cemetery. I still need to add the other. There are a lot more people in that cemetery then what is listed on here so I will be working to get it updated here soon. Check out the others on here that the photos have been added for. Have a great evening.

Hi there Suzanne, I did take a picture of a stone next to or near her(can't remember for sure) I couldn't read a thing on it though. =[ I was hoping when I blew it up I could see more, but it didn't work. I could email it to you if you'd like? Thanks

RE: Helen Ross (d. 1947)
At the time she passed, it may have cost about $50 which was a lot of money back then, too. And the price will just go up and up. I think one way of handling it would be to ask all family members if they can each contribute part of the money. Also, you do not have to purchase the stone from the cemetery, which it the most costly way. You can purchase them from other vendors, but they must meet the cemetery's standard for size (thickness, etc.) because otherwise their equipment can damage them. (Ever see a dump truck loaded with dirt, driving across the cemetery? Or the large truck that brings the vault in? Very heavy.) The only problem with buying your own is that the cemetery insists that they be the one who 'installs' it, so they can soak you for $$ doing that.

Anyway, you might want to check into that! Good luck.

You're welcome. To warn you in advance, it is very expensive here to place even the plainest headstone. Over $1,000. But let's see what they quote you.

Helen Ross (d. 1947)
Today I got a photo of the other Helen Ross's grave, the one that is unmarked. She is located in the same row as the other Helen, but a dozen or so graves to the left (east) of her. She is in between Jack Smith and Bertha Grietens. So I an uploading a photo of the area, showing her unmarked grave in the center of the photo.

Sorry this was not a more positive outcome.

Best regards,

Hi Suzanne

You are very welcome :)
I also photographed the marker of Henry B. Thornton (Find A Grave Memorial# 85533481). He is not beside Florence but at her feetů another family member perhaps?
