Please review Find-a-Grave specifications for posted photographs, specifically to post only those photos you have taken. Please delete the copy of my photograph which you posted; in fulfilling your photo request I have uploaded the original.

RE: Helen Ross (d. 1947)
At the time she passed, it may have cost about $50 which was a lot of money back then, too. And the price will just go up and up. I think one way of handling it would be to ask all family members if they can each contribute part of the money. Also, you do not have to purchase the stone from the cemetery, which it the most costly way. You can purchase them from other vendors, but they must meet the cemetery's standard for size (thickness, etc.) because otherwise their equipment can damage them. (Ever see a dump truck loaded with dirt, driving across the cemetery? Or the large truck that brings the vault in? Very heavy.) The only problem with buying your own is that the cemetery insists that they be the one who 'installs' it, so they can soak you for $$ doing that.

Anyway, you might want to check into that! Good luck.

You're welcome. To warn you in advance, it is very expensive here to place even the plainest headstone. Over $1,000. But let's see what they quote you.

Helen Ross (d. 1947)
Today I got a photo of the other Helen Ross's grave, the one that is unmarked. She is located in the same row as the other Helen, but a dozen or so graves to the left (east) of her. She is in between Jack Smith and Bertha Grietens. So I an uploading a photo of the area, showing her unmarked grave in the center of the photo.

Sorry this was not a more positive outcome.

Best regards,

Hi Suzanne

You are very welcome :)
I also photographed the marker of Henry B. Thornton (Find A Grave Memorial# 85533481). He is not beside Florence but at her feetů another family member perhaps?

Hello. There is no headstone to mark Dorthy's grave. I left a note as a caption for the plot that that she is buried in. I had walked the entire cemetery before going to the village office for information. I was sad to find that there is no marker. I have a cousin who has no marker and it makes me sad each time I go to the cemetery.

RE: The Morgans
I wasn't happy with the way they came out as they are somewhat overgrown. Will ask that the graves be trimmed and will re shoot.

Have a great day,

You're welcome. As you can see it's not one of the easiest to read. Did the best we could. We finally are able to get into our cemeteries as the snow is almost gone.

You're welcome. I did find other Beeler's and put photos on those memorials also. Not sure if they are related to you or not, but I believe they are related to each other.

The manager of Nicoline says only that "the wedding photo was from a friend who is related." She has forwarded my email to her (Lucille Thompson Kraml). Hopefully she'll contact me so we can share information. I'll let you know if she contacts me. - Connie

RE: Ingvald Daehlin
Are you familiar with the memorial to Nicoline Daehlen (#61341458)? There is a photo there submitted by Lucille Thompson Kraml. I've tried looking at one and then the other and just can't tell whether the one I have is Nicolena or Emma. From a family standpoint, my photo is from my grandmother Behrents' photo album and she did not marry (1908) my grandfather, O. S. Behrents until after Emma married Ingvald. They all were missionaries together from then on. Emma married Ingvald in China so I doubt had all the wedding finery that you see in Nicolina's memorial. My photo is simply labeled "Ingvald and Mrs. Daehlin". Not much help. I've asked Ingvald's granddaughter to look at it but haven't heard back. My bet is that it is Emma.
I would love to have a copy of the Ingvald/Nicoline photo to add to my family records. Do you have a copy? - Connie

I see you are getting the hang of this, glad the obits helped you. I have been working with the cemetery on more information for you. Happy I could help you find your extended family. I have finished up and will transfer the remainder of memorials I added to help you. Keep up the good work and remember research before you add.
